When I was 17 I got in a car accident when I was the one driving and now I’m 24 and am just starting to get comfortable driving again. Nobody was even hurt just like your experience but it’s still so scary and definitely takes time to recover from.

I really found this video not intimidating, and for me I find a lot of like the "perfect" vlogs or day in the lifes or morning routines kind of daunting. Not that I don't watch them, I find them inspiring too, but I just wanted to tell you I actually really valued your genuine-ness about this topic. It can be really hard to watch youtubers for just regular girls, we fall into like jealousy mentalities and guilt mentalities. Seeing someone be genuine about their situation really is refreshing because it's easy to make a perfect youtube video of that perfect day that you pushed yourself so hard and allow others to view you as so put together. And there's all of those feel good emotions that come with those videos. So thank you for being genuine!! It was still inspirational and motivational!

I can relate to this inner vs outer growth so much! I never really put it that way, but it kinda makes a lot of sense and I definitely also don't focus on outer growth enough when in a weird place mentally. Thanks for the motivation, and happy you're back!

I know this was only a small portion of the video, but people don't talk about car accidents enough and how traumatizing they are. I got into a really bad car accident a year and a half ago (I broke my collarbone but no one else was injured thankfully) and I still cannot drive without having massive anxiety behind the wheel. I really only drive to the grocery store and other trips that don't involve the highway. It wasn't until many months later that I really processed the trauma of that I experienced.

I totally don't mind sponsored videos, I need to buy some laundry detergent actually (completely out currently and resorting to the sanitation cycle on my washer EEK wasteful!) and I feel like the one I have isn't the greatest. But it's made in my state and it's lavender and I've convinced myself that it is working? I love it? Lol but it's something that I need to double check through and I wouldn't have thought of that if you didn't have the blueland content. Oh and also, don't feel too terrible about the video being centered in your life, I mean... I feel like we know we're watching your life. And I feel like I learn best from watching others, not just being presented with information about topics. Seeing someone living it is always so much more valuable to me. And really it's not your fault if we're watching someone else's life to the point of our detriment, it's our responsibility to keep track of our time and what we value. Not to say I don't love that you are trying to be mindful for us, it's great, but DON'T FEEL BAD!!! Lol

Totally feel that. I'm at a point in my life where I just can't do nothing and rest. It just doesn't work, bc I start over thinking, getting angry on the world's problems etc. So I clean up, study, watch films/videos, improve zero waste living etc. I just feel like there is no way I can ever rest again without feeling all lost and sad... Girl, get paid. The amount of squarespace ads I sit through on a daily basis is easily in the double digits, but I do it to support the creators I love so that they have the money to eat food. Eat food and have a place to live, Christy, for real. "Ugh, what a sellout, putting a sponsorship in the video" is so 2009. We've moved on as a collective. As long as you're not selling me galaxy bedroom ceiling lights or green tea black head pore strips (re: every tweet with more than 300 likes), then girl, get paaaaid.
