Great tip, however this will reset all controls in the app that have the reset value to varReset. If you use the update context function, will it apply all fields on the current screen only?

@@RezaDorrani busy testing as we speak, I presume it will because the variable in that case will be confined to the current screen. I often store data in galleries on different screens, resetting those can break the flow of an app.

@@RezaDorrani works like a charm. You just need to update context on each screen and set the reset value to the value of the contextual variable. Cleaner than having more than one reset variable.

Thanks for this quick tip.I have a form with 8 datacards but sometimes data is capturing blank for those in SharePoint.I thought that for those few random records sometimes form is resetting before submit.So i hv moved resetform code to HomeScreen button from where we are navigating to form.Now the frequency of issue is reduced but still not resolved.Any idea on this kind of scenario?Thanks

When you click the button to send pdf - set a variable to false then call pff and then set variable to true. Use variable to show hide any controls you need

Form itself has a resetform function. No need to use this technique for forms.

I assume this works the same with all the controls (input, combo, dropdown) yes? and the theory goes that the false to true is forcing a reset of the control. I have loads of Resets throughout all my apps.

This video is valid for classic controls. Modern controls do not have a reset property.

This video is not related to a Form reset. Rather multiple control resets. For control itself has a ResetForm function.

@@dandrem.4074 For form you dont need to use any reset variable concept as all controls within form reset in one go. Simple use ResetForm function. Best to check documentation on the same.

The context of video is not related to form. If its a form control, you can simply reset the form control itself.
