Just checked the WICReset "Supported models" tab and the L3210 is on there so you shouldn't have any problems using the app to reset the waste ink counter on that model printer.
Have there been recent updates to the WIC Reset script? I used it a while ago using my MacBook Pro to reset my PIXMA 5060 and it reset the counter however, left the printer unusable. I am hoping one day there will be an updated version that I can try in hopes of resetting the eprom where the printer will function again.
Can you contact us directly via support@octoink.co.uk along with any errors and/or diagnostic data you can provide, and I'll raise the issue with the WICReset developers. I'm not aware of any specific way to resolve an issue like that but we'll see what we can figure out.
@@octoinkjet Thanks for responding back. I left a review of the WICReset tool a while back with all the particulars of my experience using the reset tool.
That’s caused by a recent update that seems to be caused by either connecting over Wifi or not having the model specific driver installed. Recommend you connect the printer to your computer using a USB cable and try again.
Resetting over wifi is currently not working due to a driver/os change. You need to use a USB cable to reset. You may also need the driver from the Epson support website.
Can you provide more specific information on your problem. Are you saying that your key is being rejected? What's the specific error? or is something else happen. Details help us to provide the appropriate information you need to get things working.
Reset "keys" are really just an alphanumeric code that it used as a credit for the WICReset app. You can purchase them from our store at www.octoink.co.uk/keys They're used with the app to reset the waste ink counter on a compatible printer and they're operating system and printer model agnostic so you don't need to purchase a specific key for a specific printer or computer OS. Does that help?
