My friend, I'm very frustrated because this didn't work on my Dell precision 7710, and I followed step by step the process without missing a single word, but nothing happened. Do you have any other idea what else can I do to unlock my bios password? I would really appreciate any help on this matter.. Thanks in advance!

I am gonna cry today, i bought my dell latitude d430 in 2011 or 12 in used, since then i didn't searched over internet to unlock BIOS. I just unlocked it today in 2020. Thank you.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It worked perfectly for my Dell Precision M4800. For anybody trying this, be careful about 0 and O. Zero is skinnier than a capital O (oh). I had both in my password, but after some careful studying I was finally able to tell them apart. Good luck, fellow computer geeks!

Thank you! Worked perfectly with my Dell E6430. I finally could unlock this PC so I can wipe out everything using the F8 key. The bios password is the only Admin password you will need to start completely fresh on these older PCs.

Works in July 2021, Yes this method works, I tried many times and I was entering letter "l" instead of number "1". please read carefully as zero "0" and letter "O" as well as "1" and "small L" can appear decieptive on the site. Also press Ctrl+ Enter after entering the Password NOT "OK" button.

You are huge! Works perfectly with Dell E5430! A little goodness: I'm Hungarian with a laptop with a Hungarian keyboard. Here 0 is not 0 in bios ... I have to press ö for 0. By the time it popped up I think a lot of my hair had fallen out. In any case, if someone tries a machine with a non-English keyboard, the password they receive may not work because they must be entered using the English keyboard layout.

VOW that really helped the freaking Dell customer support couldn't even read the password to me correctly. After getting into my BIOS I have setup both Admin & System password and most importantly DISABLED the Intel® Software Guard Extensions (Intel® SGX) in wake of Spectre/Meltdown bugs which may as well be Intel's backdoor for the 3 letter agencies ;)
