There’s so much that goes into the residency match process. It’s so hard to give a concrete answer. Moreover, I don’t know much about applying to a surgical fellowship and what surgery programs look for in applicants. I would recommend trying to get in touch with a mentor who knows the process well. He or she would be far better suited in guiding you.
