I haven't played the Remake yet but I will absolutely keep it in mind. A little disappointing to hear in that regard

They should have put all the effort they put in doing that painfully long sewer section into polishing the A-B campaigns

They barely made any changes to the “B” scenarios, that’s what made the original so good. It was like a completely different sorry and there were more differences playing the 2nd time with the other character.

Also Ada throwing the rocket launcher down to Leon so that He can kill the Tyrant/Mr.X in Leon's B Scenario is a better tie-in to Her giving Him the special rocket launcher to finish off Saddler in old school RE4

They nerfed the shotgun and the magnum in the remake, in the original however the fully customised shotgun and magnum is a fucking beast!

@@joeywalker2061 yeah it can, but you have to be very precise especially with the uncustomised shotty.. I mean in the original you can kill a licker with 2 shots with the 1st shotgun while in the remake it takes 5 full point blank in the head to put down a licker even with the fully customised shotty. While claire on the other hand can kill a licker with 1 direct hit with the flame rounds..

The grenade launcher is a beast but thats her only really powerful weapon the spark shot is okay but nowhere near as good as the flamethrower or shotgun or the magnum. And you can't make flame rounds only acid rounds.

@@joeywalker2061 dude the spark shot can kill a licker with 1 shot not to mention it can also stunlock it while the flame thrower can kill a licker but goodluck dodging it coz it doesn't really gives it a stun while the dps is great but not before getting 1 or 2 slashes to the face, so i really dont recommend it especially on hardcore mode, plus the fully customised magnum can kill a licker with 2 clean shot to the head! FUCKING 2! With the so called hand cannon of RE?! How is that not near as good?

@@Kelphelp Well, both can make sense depends on you, but the simple reason why Claire A is canon is because of one major detail in Resident Evil 6, mainly that Sherry’s story revolves around the aftermath of her being cured of the virus. I think originally it was Leon A being canon before RE6. I mean, the guy’s a cop, so you would expect his story to play out first in dealing with the RPD and prepping it for Claire.

It is a little cumbersome but I guess that's the best indication if we do have continuity of how it works. Man making me wanna replay it again for sure just to get that co tinuity again

Personally I always figured that Capcom originally intended for Leon A Claire B to be canon but then retconned that in RE6 and opted to make Claire A Leon B the two canon routes instead

The campaign accoints for both people. So for example some of the ammo, if A takes everything in the room, B has nothing. Only depends if you begin the campaign. I meant to say that either character can use it, depending on your choices

@@Kelphelp It doesn't make sense if certain puzzles are already solved from side A.

in the original re2 they collect their own unique keys, open their own pathways, and fight their own bosses. unfortunately the same cannot be said of the remake. in the remake you collect most of the same keys to open the same doors and even fight the same bosses in the same locations in all 4 scenarios, it's extremely disappointing.

Chic01taliano so the cord changes where zombies populate by busting through windows in the B scenario. This is triggered at the start of B scenario when the player enters the library. This kinda works strangely, where the cord is placed in A causes a short, and the zombies end up there. However, if no cord is placed, both hallways get populated. Licker hallway, and the heart key hallway to the basement. You must use the basement path, so here’s my recommendation. So let’s use Claire A / Leon B for this example. I always put the cord into the licker hallway during Claire. Do as much as you can with Leon before ever entering the library, including passing through the licker cutscene hallway. You don’t actually need to open the key door there after the zombies bust through, as it only has a first aid spray and an invisible ink ribbon. So just never use that hallway and it’s not an issue. Hope that helps. I just replayed it so it was fresh.

Chael Sonnen Hmmm the disc reset? I haven't bought the digital copy since i have physical versions so I'm afraid I cannot help you much there. :( Essentially each campaign is on a disc, so you can begin them with whichever one you choose. You can reset the disc and load 2, and then start up Claire A from there

Old comment but if I recall in the original he had a lighter because he *used to* smoke, thus had the lighter on him out of sentimentality and also as a 'just in case' thing. While chris in re1 has a lighter because he still smokes (the cut intro fmv shows this)

Tyrant appears at the B scenario (Claire A/Leon B or Leon A/Claire B). In the original RE 2, Claire A - Leon B is the canon.

@@Kelphelp I just thought it would be cool to have more detail. Like specific little things like how Leon can slide down into the basement by using that chute but Claire can't. I just felt like the video ended abruptly when there was still loads to talk about. Sorry if I came across as a dick.

Twartboot 2000 Ahhh I Definetly cannot help you there. Emulators csn be very finicky and anything can occur so thats beyond what I know. I am using official dreamcast hardware and on that respect it works fine. Check forums on how to get that running
