What is the best remeke in your opinion?

I know they made some differences to Leon's face in 4 to make it different from the model, so I'm not talking about that, but I think that the overall detail in the face is missing in 4. I think the face in RE2 is far more polished and refined. I still like how both games look regardless.

I love how Leon's animations show how much more experienced he is in 4. Really good choice there.

Carlos is easily one of my favorite characters in RE and in general, it's really the only reason I like the RE3 remake so much

It's very cool to see how Resident Evil series has been improved through decades. Definetely one of the best game series I have ever played since 2000.

When i played RE2R i was mesmerized by the graphics and nostalgia, also we dont talk about this, but the sound on an audiophile system is incredible !! BUT RE4R IS absolutly great, like its perfect. I love it so much

I love the RE2 and RE4 remakes so much. Haven’t played 3 yet, but I’ll be picking it up at some point. Only complaint about 4 graphically is that I feel like Leon’s face is a little too smooth / bright on his character model. He looks fine in cutscenes, but it’s kind of jarring going from those to what his face looks like in gameplay. It’s almost like there’s not enough shadowing taking place.

They all look basically the same, which is to be expected, same engine and all... but they just look less hazy and washed out as they progress. More contrast, and color. I don't know if that was a style choice, but I do like the graphical style of RE3R the most.

Somehow feel visual fidelity in RE2 and 3 remakes is a notch better than RE4 Remake. Re4 Remake has some weird inconsistencies to it's lighting and LOD management unlike RE2/3R which nails it down. RE4R could make do with a few more months of polish/overall optimization. That being said, RE4R is still a GOAT back then and GOAT today and my GOTY 2023.

en mi opinion personal: las reacciones faciales en el RE2 Y RE3 son buenas, muestran algunas marcas o cuando son atacados se muestra detalles faciales, pero en el RE4 no se ve con tanto detalle, ojo no estoy diciendo que el juego sea malo ni nada de eso, solo digo que hay ciertos detallitos que no tiene el RE4 que los otros si, pero igual es un juegazo

RE2 remake for me. As much as I enjoyed RE4 and I will only enjoy it more as I keep playing over and over. The major gripe I have with the game is how unbalanced the final section on the island is. It also takes away from the amazing atmosphere set in the first two sections of the game.

Not enough difference at all between any of the games, which shows how great and ahead of its time (even if just by a bit) the RE engine is.

Resident evil 2 remake is genuinely fear enducing, the whole way the game is made is scary. The zombies groans are some of the scariest I’ve heard, the dismemberment is the best, and mr x is terrifying. The fact zombies take a lot of bullets and the dark atmosphere makes it incredibly scary. Resi 3 remake loses nearly all of this. It’s like a toned down game in comparison. Nemesis is no where near as scary as mr x was, and the zombies no longer have that fear factor. Resi 4 remake is just an amazing game in general, and has a good level of fear, mixed with amazing level design and the most polished story and content.

It's no contest really. RE2 & 4 are the best capcom did, 3 was a let down. Mainly because it was developed by a different team to 2 & 4. That and what they did to nemesis was just unforgivable.

I think as far as art style and graphics are concerned, RE3R is better. Specially the subtleties you see in Jill's face during cutscenes.

Without the hair strands on Leon RE 4 remake it looks shiny and realistic, I hate the hair strands on RE 4 remake, makes Leon hair looks off even on rain is not even wet like the original without strands.

Re 2 is way more scary and it has more jump scare scene…God my heart almost went out when Mr X started stalking me 😂😂😂 until I learnt he can be hurt and I used it to my advantage 😂😂

The games keep looking better and better, and I think it's mostly lighting. Re2make always looked super washed-out to me whereas 4 has really rich lighting

Personalmente no me gustan muchos los gráficos del RE4 siento que le cambiaron mucho la cara al actor de Leon, se parece al del RE2 Remake pero a su vez se ve muy diferente. Además a nivel gráfico me parece que el RE2 Remake y RE3 Remake se ven mejor gráficamente que el RE4 Remake ya que siento que ahí sobre exageraron el brillo y crearon un desbalance de luz. En los otros Remake se ve mejor ya que es más oscuridad que brillo pero el brillo no llega a ser exagerada esta bien equilibrado y el RE4 Remake tiene un desbalance a nivel de brillo extraño. Me parece un juegazo pero siento que gráficamente hablando se ve raro, para ser de la generación actual deja que desear a nivel gráfico.
