I remember when I got that scene when I played as a kid. Now that I'm older I thought my mind had made it up cos i never managed to recreate it. Good to know kid me was right.

When I was a kid I stuck in this game and in this part of the game specifically and I saw these cutscenes and never saw them again because for next so many times that I played I always knew about objectives and puzzles and everything... all I'm trying to say is in everything and specifically video games first time playing is something else... specifically when you were a kid... good old days...
I belive if you go out on the main door restaurant after the press you will find Nemesis on the area, thanks for the video I only saw one time the grenade scene .
If you choses to run away from nemesis, when the first time you meet carlos (both in restaurant or the press office). Nemesis will spawn on the area after carlos leave you (or if you not knocking him down the second time after blowing up kitchen or hiding on the press office). So choses the option to blow the kitchen then beat nemesis after he get up again (if you enter the restaurant first) but if you decided to go to press office first, then choses to hide on the room, then beat nemesis after he got knocked out by explosion. Both of this choices will make nemesis not spawning in this area
Resident evil 1.5 has hand granades on the item selector it crashes the game since its a 75% build patch together i think this is the closest we will ever see Classic RE hand granades
You need to have at least one or two of the following items on the inventory to make this scene works: Power Cable, Mixed Oil and Fuse. I just mentioned the "Power Cable" on the video, as it is the only item you can get before going to the trolley for the fist time, but this scene will not work if you got all those items while returning to trolley.
@Smallvillecs You know what, you're right, i didn't realise that because i always pick the power cable when i reach the parking lot. I played this game more than 100 times, and there was no time when i didn't pick it up.
Thank you for sharing this hidden scene; I didn't know that this 1 existed and yet I have played PS1 RE3 so many times that I have lost count. Unfortunately, this fact also reminds me of how I compare the PS1 RE3 to RE3R. This is because SO MUCH of the original PS1 RE3 content from cut from RE3R that it does not even feel like the same game anymore.
