Capcom please stop rushing your games like this. You did such a great job with Resident Evil 2 Remake, but this game, it's unfinished. It's missing locations from the original, it has no choice system, the sound design is odd, and the environments aren't fully fleshed out, they need more decals. It would be nice from you to patch some of those things, but something tells me it won't happen. Now I'm sad...

I just finished the game. It was a really great experience but I wish it was longer. I completed it in 5 hours and it went by fast. Oh and Jill Valentine is the best RE protagonist, come at me.

I almost beat the game and I literally just got it... Ok, so this isn’t a bad game. If you play it for what it is, you’ll enjoy it. I was shocked to see how small nemesis played a role and then it no longer felt like nemesis. The original had a very special atmosphere with loads of detail. It was also very dark and you felt a sense of isolation in this ghost town filled with zombies. A good game, a completely different spinoff from the original, as well as remake part 2; yet still a disappointment in some aspects. It could’ve been a lot more. Much, much more. I just hope for the remake of RE4 that they do something great or the Code Veronica. If not, I’ll just go back to play the original RE3.

I just beat it and it has to be the most linear re game of all time also short and so much was cut. Damn. Also pretty much 0 puzzles.

Capcom removed the best locations in the game (clock tower , dead Factory) iconic monsters (grave digger , spiders , crows ) and also mercenaires ! We have been waiting for years !!! This trailer is too short. Can say the same about the game itself. Capcom, you can still save this game. Add Mercenaries: Operation Mad Jackal as free DLC. And add in the Park, Dead Factory and Clock Tower as free REQUIRED DLC to the main campaign. Here's how you can add in The St. Michael's Clock Tower, The Park and The Dead Factory into Jill's story. When Jill arrives at the Clock Tower, rather than going straight into the Nemesis boss fight, set up a reason for Jill to explore the Clock Tower, Park and Factory and fight her way back to the Clock Tower. The Nemesis boss fight occurs on return and the story proceeds as normal. You can easily add 5 to 10 more hours to the main game that way.

Resident Evil 3(hours) no clock tower location no park area no graveyard no grayveyard boss battle no spiders no half of the city locations no random enemies spawns with each run no nemesis boss battles options no mercenaries mode toned downed regdoll and gore no different endings = full priced game

While I do wish mercenaries was here (hopefully free DLC) the game is fucking amazing so fun, I'm truly in love with remake. RE3 always held a special place in my heart and this remake makes me so happy. Oh yeah, that remixed safe room song is everything.

RE3 remake definitely needs an update including all the cut content! It has so much more potential. It's still time! C'mon, Capcom!!!

is a great game and a real badass RE title, i only hate it some of the changes and decisions made something honestly were a drop of potentials, but many others were just masterful still thank you capcom for so many years of great legacy in gaming

Resident Evil 2 Remake was pretty amazing. I had such high hopes for Resident Evil 3 Remake. Sadly the game was a letdown compared to Resident Evil 2 Remake. Far too much content was cut, watered down, and lost much of it’s replay value without a Mercenaries Mode. I’m a bit bummed out for sure. Capcom definitely dropped the ball on this entry without a doubt. Fingers crossed they at least try to make it right and patch in some story content DLC in the near future.

This is all I'm gonna say: satisfactory ending.

Great game but short lived, if instead of budgeting a multiplayer nobody wanted and had focused solely on REmake 3 it could have been a better experience, kinda sad when the original had more content and replay value, gonna pick this up on sale.

I waited at the edge of my seat with baited breath for my #1 favorite game of all time to be remade. After completing it. I have to say: my disappointment is unmeasurable. RE3 had 1 scenario instead of 4 like RE2 and they still managed to F that up too! It's not just missing iconic locations. it's missing the heart and soul of what RE3 was. However characters feel more like real people but that was one of the few things that was done right in this. Except Robert Kendo's dialog was cringe. I actually prefer the way the hospital was done in the reimagine better. Didn't make sense in the original to assassinate Tyrel inside it if he's just gonna destroy the hospital, or blow it up when a nuke is on it's way. You either blow it up or assassinate targets. Either way the hospital and the train were the only good parts that were remade the right way. Wish there was more city and all the other cool places. The R.P.D. part was okay. Brad REALY should have died by nemesis. Nemesis had a 50% success rate and now it's a complete failure. The ending really sucked, I miss the dead factory with dead tyrants and Spec Ops. Barry should have rescued them as a way to pay Jill back for his betrayal. Woulda been badasfk if he tossed Jill his magnum to finish nemesis to give him STARS.

I am very satisfied with Resident Evil 3 Remake. I enjoyed Resident Evil 2 Remake very much last year and still continues to play it. I really hope that Capcom will also release #ResidentEvilCodeVeronicaXRemake in 2021 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox 4 #ResidentEvil2021

waited 3 months to finish a 3 hour game

CAPCOM can still fix the game with the DLC for Carlos and bring back all of the original cut content from the original game: add back in all of the enemies (including spiders), fix Nemesis (make him similar to Mr.X or just add another Tyrant enemy) and add all of the missing locations from the RE3R: a Clock tower mansion, Raccoon park and a Factory. The DLC could start with Carlos and his mercenary compatriots landing in with the helicopters into the chaos of the Raccoon City to fight the T-virus outbreak like in an ORIGINAL RE3 Game.

I'm really enjoying the game by now, but there was a scene with a certain starts member in the original that i 've really miss in this remake

I have to say one important thing to those who are interested in the Resident Evil series, which I am one of, that this important criticism can be leveled at the new creators of this series and itself in recent years, that if in all zombie movies and series. With the exception of World War Zombies 2013, you have noticed that zombies are attacking and eating Carter everywhere. For example, in the last two series of remakes, zombies only attacked the character's neck, because zombies should no longer be like wildlife in the wild. It took me 3 hours to beat it on normal mode on my first play through without any prior knowledge on what was going to happen. Good job capcom.

RE 3 was my favourite Resi game of all time but this remake not nearly as good as the old one. The new Nemesis isn't scary (his voice is ridiculous and his appearance is worse than old) Jill had blue eyes anyway. I'm so angry at Capcom. Otherwise I wanted this episode in next gen, It was too early. Where are the original soundtrack & the choices at all? This game isn't frightening...

Why did they change Jill, Carlos and Nemesis? Fanboi: Cause it's a remake it has to be different and edgy. Why is it only 4 hours long? Also fanboi: Cause the original was short and it has to be the same it's a remake!

This game shows no respect for the real Resident Evil 3 fans. The game was just a money grab using mostly all assets from resident evil 2 and zombies. Even the animation character was taken from RE2. The reason there is no clock tower is that too much work making new assets. Although there are nice touches in this game, I see NO LOVE to put it together for the fans. When finished the game I felt empty. So much potential wasted. Lack of puzzles and places to visit. In approximately 15min you meet Brad, Dario, Carlos and Mikail. Everything is so fast you can't even enjoy each character individually. Murphy, dies in 2 seconds. Capcom PUT YOUR EYES at Square Enix with their FF7 remake, they are being faithful to their content and even go beyond! That is CARING for the fans. Instead of RE Resistance you should skip that game and actually make something really good with RE3 and made everyone proud. I am so disappointed with my favorite RE being wasted. You took advanced to the fans to just make something quick knowing that "they will buy it anyway". I hate you.

I loved the game, its definitely worth getting, its missing quite a few things, an being a bit short, I feel like that's the only issue, don't get me wrong if you take your time you can get about 13 hours, but that is going very slow an backtracking a lot for saves an stuff like that, but I can see that 6 hours is about the length, especially if spoiler I guess, you can get an achievement for beating it in 2 hours, so I see why they gave the multiplayer game, please capcom, make a lot of dlc for the game, more single player content, maybe extend the story some way or something like that, it would give more reasons to replay an more costumes an weapons to unlock, it would give a very good reason for more people to buy an play, yes their is a few but for re fans we need more to keep us busy, most people wanted the remake more than anything, they wanted that classic game to be remade an be amazing, yes the original was short but still just felt like way more content to it, an this was a chance to fix that, yes the content we get story wise an gameplay wise is almost a perfect mix, the action an horror is top notch, just needed about dub the amount of content length wise, an while nemesis is awesome its lacking when it comes to bosses, just like with 7 not having many different types of enemies, something i think is very important to RE players, but yes just a few suggestions hopefully that someone in capcom will see, just feel like especially with the remake of 2 witch I loved, we lost so much content in that as well, especially with the different scenarios, also I'd love for cc to make ports of the original re2 an re3 games, for xbox one, please an dino crisis, I'm sure plenty of people would buy, I definitely would buy all 3, something about playing those originals never gets old, you can play them over an over, also if cc is doing more remakes, I personally would love to see code veronica, that would be awesome af, just hopefully the bandersnatchs would have a huge redesign or all new enemies, b.o.w.s, still keep the zombies, but give us more bosses an new monsters to battle, I think it would sell like crazy, long as we get a good length game, with the combat an controls of 3, plus it be dope af, to see Carlos again in a future game, but for the multiplayer game, Resistance it is interesting an pretty cool, glad to have it along with re3 but re3 was the main attraction, I could see a lot of potential with Resistance tho, could almost be like the outbreak series, especially if you add some extra modes an content, but another huge game I'd love to see a remake too is of course one of the original's I want a port of, dino crisis, that would be so epic, survival horror needs to make a big come back, but that's just from one survival horror fan, I just think man as much as I do like re3, if it was just longer with the same quality, just maybe a few more things happened in it, it could have been, not only the best remake ever, but probably one of if not the best survival horror game ever made, so close

All I got to say is this game was a huge disappointment. With how good RE2R was I was expecting this one to be better. Unfortunately that is not the case here. Please wait for it to go on sale people, definitely not worth the full admission.

Game is pretty solid but too short for the full asking retail price. There's 0 replayability value. Why lower the age restriction?! You didnt have to dumb down the gore system and remove the ragdolls. Know your customers...they are not 15 year old kids.... This wont be a huge succes like the RE2R was...so i hope you learn from these mistakes Capcom. PS. I hope you remake Code Veronica next. Do it properly like you did with RE2R please. Thanks :p

I was so excited for this game. I watched the nemesis trailer everyday. Sadly this game is only 3 hours long :( they cutet a lot from the orginal and the wallprints are unreadable. Not worth 60€ sadly :( if capcom wants to safe this game they should release free story dlc with clock tower etc.

I really enjoyed this game but it felt like something was missing and a bit empty. I think it should have had bigger hubs, more puzzles and secretive areas to find. Nemesis mutates and evolves way to quickly and Carlos should have had his own stand alone campaign. Hoping they add Mercenaries, akin to Survivors, at a later date. I'm also hoping they start to Remake Code Veronica but take a lot more time to develop it so it doesn't feel as rushed as this one. Even through those complaints though, I am currently on my 4th play through....

Missed opportunity at the bridge where Nemesis is stupid on fire, could have added the park. He brings Jill to the clocktower and goes to the hospital, which is just another sub section to a city area. In this you could have had a different Nemesis fight that left him burning and missing where the grave digger fight occurs if I'm right. Easy fix. Also the mutated fight could have occured after Jill woke up leaving the clocktower. This would have added a new area and expanded present ones interconnecting them. Hell that's so good at an easy trim, edit, and cut point I'd do an executive choice update. Call it apology and quality insurance update.

Had such a blast with this game this weekend. Didn’t feel too short, especially on “hardcore” mode. That difficulty had the perfect balance and I took my time. Took me about 8 hours to finish. At first I was disappointed that some areas from the original were cut but they did a great job fleshing out the locations that are present so it was all good in the end!

I still can't believe what Capcom did to my best RE game in the series 😭😭😭 no body asked for resistance ! We only needed a good remake ! It ripped off the soul of the original game removing iconic locations , monsters and moments ! It just doesn't feel like RE3 at all in any logical way ! They turned nemesis into a dog and jill into lara croft ! This game is another RE game inspired by RE3 ! It doesn't even compare to the original

RE3 is too much like RE6. Too linear, too much emphasis on action and just evading literally everything. Almost no puzzles and exploring and figuring stuff out like Resident Evil games should have. And the boss fights were preeetty bad.
