Lool you’d expect someone like him to have a genuine badass act lol because on a serious side, he’s been through so much shit lol and there is emphasis placed on him being traumatized by each shit he’s been through. This game STARTS with him discussing how he was put through hellish training and battle. Every entry after this one emphasizes on how traumatized and sometimes tired of this shit he is. I guess some things don’t change lol.

And they made the ashley section actually fun. The section your on the truck ashley is driving got replaced with the wrecking ball section. I think overall alot of the sections just would have ruined the pacing.

This remake was a fun ride. They did really good with this one. I love how I could recognize everything from the original (which I played dozens of times and know by heart), but some things were just different enough that it threw you off a little bit. Everything was the same, yet different which kept it both fresh enough that you wanted to see what comes next but also strangely nostalgic because you've already been here so many times before. So the entire game feels like a strange combination of excitement to see what was next mixed with nostalgia, because you already know to some extent. You just wanna see what the changes are and how they handled it. 9.5/10. Will play again.

I also agree, I remember this game being good, but I don't remember being so immersed like I was this time. I'm on my third playthrough after just beating NG+ on Professional difficulty in 5 hours. I unlocked the handcannon (through mercenaries) Ashley's Armor, the Gas Mask (so now I look like hunk and have aim assist lol) and the Chicago sweeper. I'm all set to begin my S+ NG professional run to get cat ears and omg am I ready to scream and cry from the stress again.

So many people complained endlessly about re3 remake as well, but mostly bashed Jill. Everything about her was bashed on. But I am certain Leon wont be for the same reasons, I dont think any of these guys will complain about how: Leon doesnt smile. Leon doesnt dress a certain way . Leon curses. But it MATTERS when it's female characters. Also, Leon never was muscular, the original was fine the way he was. Guy complain that men are forced to look a certain way to be considered manly, and yet the same body type keeps resurfacing (because guys complained leon was too slim and "handsome") FACEPALM

The things everybody complained about for Re3 were the game being too scripted, short, and cut for content, along with Nemesis being less memorable than Mr. X. Jill was amazing though ❤
