holy shit, finally someone gets it, and not only that, she says "i got this" like what's standing in front of her is nothing, she's too cocky and confident all things considered
I mean resident evil 3 to me feels like the first RE game to be more of an action game, that’s not to say the other 2 aren’t I mean certainly both also have action in it but I feel like resident evil 3 has the most compared to the other 2
Jill: *wields gun five tens her weight* Chris: *punches boulders* Leon: *john wick* What’s next ? Grown up sherry has the strength to deflect missiles with her bare hands ?
This is the same game series that had a man punch a bolder and this same character as well as a douche in sunglasses move so fast you couldn’t shoot them properly. What I’m trying to say is reality probably left once... I dunno...the fucking dead started to walk around.
Ah yes, the "It's just a game" excuse. What if Jill literally knocked over buildings by punching them and lifted oil tankers over her head and threw them 1000 feet? Would that have been fine too?
Doctor Proteus yes, it really would’ve. Because that sounds awesome, also do you really believe that’s the problem when she’s using the rail gun on a slug tentacle monster that looks like a mix of a botany experiment gone wrong and the final boss of dead space
But Chris and her are forever platonic best friends with no romantic interest! Leon must fuck Claire! Leon must fuck Chris's sister! There is no other way.
@@trevorfranks69 now you take a look at your common sense abd realize that I chose my name to mock the people whose yt name is 100,000 subs with no vids challenge, etc mr.genius
2 games so far this year.... Doom eternal: "You cant just shoot a hole onto the surface of mars" RE3: "NO YOU CANT JUST PICK UP A RAIL GUN AND SHOOT A HOLE IN NEMESIS" Doomguy and Jill: HaHa Big Gun go Shzoooooom
@michael5050 XP Yeah duh but still its a video game who really cares, Remember RE5? Chris punched a boulder lmao. I'm not huge on The Resident Evil series but this is just some crap I've heard about :/
By psychologically, a man in crisis condition would have a strength to lifting something imposible to handle. But if the reason to punch or knockdown someone, that would be imposible. But it looks like that's not really heavy anyway. Just my opinion
I absolutley love how they actually brought the original soundtrack with a new mix from the original Resident Evil 3: Nemesis when you have your final face off with him.
@@guilhermeg.rodrigues1248 I don't condone either of those ridiculously bad replies but I think it's understandable to roll your eyes more at Jill's feat vs DoomSlayer's since the BFG is a smaller gun than the railcannon and him putting it into a monster's mouth is one of the less ridiculous feats of strength he performs in the span of his game vs Jill who's displayed to be very much more human throughout the game up until she ends up lifting a fucking railcannon the size of a couch. Additionally I think it's kind of a shame because the original RE3 already had a much more tense and believable combat scenario, with her tricking the withering Nemesis into an experimental cannon's line of fire, and the player can choose to let Jill have her big badass moment to finish him off while having to weigh the option vs a time limit since the nuke is inbound to Racoon City in real time.
I know it's a joke, but have you seen how many times nemesis should have died? I didn't care about how she could have picken up the gun I just wanted to see the fucker die
Alpine Gaming well considering that nemesis is another version of mr x we need to consider the only thing that stopped x to begin with was Birkin slashing out a hole in his body. Nemesis was engineered to replace military forces so it actually makes a lot of sense
So is it just me, or is this Nemesis just terrified of Jill at this point? The high pitch shrieking, the aimlessly flailing arms, the way it constantly retracts swiftly after trying to make an attack. I think Nemesis is legitimately fearing for its life in this fight.
but the giant caterpillar (idkw) is big , overweight , it make sense why it so slow , & Jill just hit all it's weak point . That thing is screaming lol
@@VerdeMorte And you wrote this here why exactly? What you said doesn't have anything to do with the comment you're replying to. You just said that to be annoying and stir this thing into a fight. Do you really have nothing better to do ?
@@comander2033 Excuse me scumbag, can't take a joke? Concept of sarcasm lost upon you? Tye game can be completed in under 3 hours, how is that not speedrun level of shortness? You really need to get your facts straight before you accuse someone of bullshit or you'll end up with it all over your face.
The way the original theme kicks in as she fires the rail gun is just perfection. I don't care if it's realistic or not, it's just an awesome combination of action, cinematography, sound design and music
....if Ripley had enough strength to lift and fire a gun 5 times heavier than her. And also Alien Queen looking like a result of eating twelve Taco Bells restaraunts worth of burritos.
And it’s awesome isn’t it? People usually take RE so seriously, why? The series was never meant to be a piece of full realism. Lines are corny, plot points were always goofy ( even with re 1 remake). Take a sit and enjoy the ride, people
“Wow she can lift that all metal, still bolted, high recoil railgun? Unrealistic beyond hell.” *remembers Chris punching a boulder “Oh right... forgiven.”
Let’s not even get started on bringing up all the crazy shit that Leon has done, people trying to pin that RE protags are just human clearly don’t have a god damn clue what makes RE’s most badass moments possible.
Forgiven my ass, Resident Evil 5 was a garbage cash-grab from the dark ages of the franchise, this is supposed to be a return to form, straight out of the original more grounded trilogy, lmao.
@@Maverick.D.it's because the original is superior overall, the final battle alone proves it, I've been thinking about this for a while now, shows the values of each game and why the original is a classic but this one isn't
Mr SMITH they really did tho!!! And like if they were gonna give a short campaign adding mercenaries would’ve been a quick fix ! We could’ve poured hours into that but instead we got resistance ? RE2 R still left me wanting 4 different scenarios but what they gave us last year was MUCH MORE than this :(
Mr SMITH bruh foreal. I enjoyed them, but they werent challenging. I did my first run on hard because I wanted to milk out the experience, but the bosses are pretty easy :(
I was so disappointed it left that out. That also with the character epilogue stories you could unlock one by one, how hard would it be to have a stock image with a few background stories?
God this game is so underrated. Yeah, it's a bad remake, but if you try not to look at it as a remake but rather a reimagining, you'll see just how fantastic it is. Only thing that takes away from it is it should have been longer, I just want more of what we got.
Its a good game from a mechanical standpoint. Just a bad story-telling game, which is strange because most supposed gamers will pay attention to gameplay first, before aesthetics.
How is it a bad remake? The original is so ugly to look at, controls suck so bad, atmosphere is so stale, voice acting sucks etc.... nothing good about the original over the remake at all!!!!
"And now we have an unfortunate turn of events. It seems that the president and the federal council have passed judgment over the civilians of raccoon city. The president and the federal council have ruled the bacillus-terminate is the best course of action for this extreme situation and have since, executed it. Based on that fact, raccoon city has been literally wiped off the map. Current reports have the death toll surpassing the 100,000 mark. Our hearts go out to those poor civilians of raccoon city."
@@goldenjebboni1331 they made nemesis into a little bitch, in the last fight all you gotta do is activate the power and use the rail gun, the original final boss was better because it actually required skill.
Nikolai didn't deserve to die instantly in the nuclear blast. In the original RE3, depending on what choice you make on the bridge to the Dead Factory, he can steal the chopper and escape or he can steal it and be shot down and killed by Jill, both of which are possible if you jump off the bridge from the Nemesis. Or he's dragged up into the ceiling and bloodily killed by the Nemesis in his bare chested and much more tentacled second form, which happens if your choice is to shoulder tackle the Nemesis off the bridge. The second option is the closest to what Nikolai deserves for all he had done.
Feats of strength aside, I prefer how Jill dispatched Nemesis here over the original. It felt a lot more satisfying ramming that railgun into its mouth and firing another blast, than it is to pump it with five magnum rounds.
At one point, I was writing some fan outlines for how I would make my own hypothetical movie adaptations of RE1 and RE2 (respectively with parts of RE0 and RE3 added), and I tried to come up with my own compromise between the two demises of Nemesis’. If you do not mind reading it, do you think the following would work decently? 1.) In my version, it would be implied that Nemesis only becomes his dog-like stage from the remake, after he crawls out of the acid and feeds. Jill and Carlos initially fight that form outside the Dead Factory. 2.) Carlos finds the experimental railgun, among the dead soldiers and Tyrants, then uses it to blast off one of Nemesis’ human arms. But the railgun needs more power and Nemesis sprouts a leftover tentacle from the arm stump, ready to attack Carlos. 3.) The weapon is a mounted gun with multiple cords, each connecting it to a power supply. While Jill replaces a severed cord and a damaged battery, Carlos gets seriously injured by Nemesis. 4.) Jill then manages to fire two more shots at Nemesis, one of which scores a direct hit and decapitates him. But the parasite itself finally emerges from his opened body cavity, causing Nemesis to resemble the original’s final form. 5.) When Nemesis grabs Jill with its tentacle arm and tries to pull her towards its mandibles, Carlos is able to unload one last magazine to sever the tentacle. Jill then gets up, equips the original’s “Western Custom M37” shotgun, blasts the Nemesis parasite a few times, and finally shoves the shotgun down the parasite’s throat, before saying her S.T.A.R.S. one-liner and firing her last shell.
@@halfthefiber I meant to reply a while ago, but thanks for the feedback. I have currently been thinking the same thing, whether or not to still use the magnum as a more direct reference to the original. What made me conflicted, however, is that I still really like that imagery from the remake version, where Jill shoves a weapon down Nemesis’ throat and blasts his insides apart. So I figured that a shotgun could work as a compromise between the two versions, where I have Jill both repeatedly fire her last bullets into Nemesis and deliver a final shot down the gullet that splatters him. I guess I could have Jill initially use the magnum revolver, fire until it runs out of ammo, and then switch to her shotgun with one shell left to finish Nemesis in that way. However, I wondered if that would take it one step too far in its complexity.
Banzai Kampfmaschine it's a video game. Everything is cringe. Last of Us, Witcher, GOW. Everything is cringe in a video game, you just have to understand and appreciate the craft put into it.
Them: Did you see how Jill blasted Nemesis with a railgun on its mouth? Me: You mean how Doomguy blasted the Spider Mastermind with the BFG on its mouth in Doom 2016? Yes.
@@elle9086 in RE revelations theres a hit they might like each other, its after jessica trying to seduce cris and parker said maybe he is already taken in the same time watching both cris and jill leaving. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-u3213IE0WMY.html
And in the original after Nemesis lost his head and arm thats when the parasite took full control, so the final fight isnt even Nemesis but in fact the parasite fighting to survive.
ByoNemesis he was disolved with other thing with the acid, in that containment was some zombies with more T virus, and some bio-mass that make him in the form he is, And in the previous boss, you didn’t t notice it but he has the same arm that he have on the OG final boss (because his original arm was cut by the door near the clock tower)
The only reason she was able to handle that railgun was because of the T-Virus unique to Nemesis in her system enhancing her. Considering the virus that enhanced Wesker and the T-Virus came from the Progenitor virus, it does make sense that Jill was enhanced by it, especially given that her infection was the only reason she survived being Wesker's captive.

Or maybe the railgun is way lighter than you think...
This is incorrect; she's able to handle that railgun because this is the climax of an action movie and she's the protagonist. That's the logic RE works on, especially the earlier games (including their remakes).
@ well... when she fired that thing it cracked the floor so it wasnt that light and she was unfazed and not even moved, not even the cannon of a tank does that, stop looking logic into it
*Jill survives punches, kicks and throws from a creature twice her size and with enough strenght to punch through a brick wall* RE fans: That's ok :) *Jill lifts a railgun* RE fans: NoOoOoOoOOOOOoooo!!! You can't do that!!! >:(
@@andreprmna1244 who cares 'bout that naked b!tch, racoon city is best and outbreak files has those stories we need to play and experince yet again, good coop then project resistance
the ending with Jill and Carlos leaving Nickolai to his death then departing and witnessing the bomb sending Raccoon City to oblivion and Jill having those emotional last lines while she escapes with Carlos into the resident evil universe is even better then the ending of resident evil 2 remake with leon claire and sherry promising to battle and stop the chaos that umbrella created until their last breath.
This remake could have been better it felt rushed. Nemesis was also under used as he was suppose to chase us. No clocktower, park and the graveyard. It should have been better.
After playing this I really want an RE5 remake, playing co-op with shiva was awesome! And to see this version of Jill controlled by Albert Wesker would be cool!
Even though the ending explosion is pretty cool, i can't help but feel like its impact is weaker than the original where you saw some of Raccoon City's more iconic locations like the Police Station and The Clock Tower getting destroyed one by one in a huge sweeping explosion, i understand that doing it like in the original would probably be considered tasteless today with how realistic the game is in terms of the visuals and graphics, but it would have helped hammer home the fact that Raccoon City - the city you have spent the past 2 games in, has now just been destroyed before your very eyes.
Ya'll can complain about stuff cut from this game or how short it is (as if Resident Evil 2 Remake isn't guilty of both themselves) but they did Jill good in this remake, they did her REALLY good. Chris Redfield needs to step up in the new era, that boulder punching thing was like 12 years ago.
"STARS? I'll give you STARS" should have been said during this moment. Also, am I the only one who finds Jill picking up a giant freaking cannon both awesome AND ridiculous?
@@mazimadu - It's a little nitpick I know, but "STARS? I'll give you STARS" was a brilliantly cheesy and awesome way to end off the Nemesis fight in the original. I dunno, I just really wanted to hear that line here too.
@@sasoridokueki5754 - Was that actually ever meant to be a thing? I always assumed that part was something a new writer on the team made up during Resident Evil 5 or something.
isn't it so similar the way jill shoved that rail gun into nemesis's mouth is so similar to the way doomguy shoved the bfg 9000 up that spiderboss's mouth in doom 2016
They used the phrase earlier in the game. Also, i wish this game had more time to be at development. I feel like this was too rushed and the railgun sound effects has 0 impact on it.
You are a legend and thank You for this clip, I have resident evil 2,3,4,5,6 soon 7 & village on my channels playlist, full gameplay, all treasures and emblems and bobble heads. Love & luck from Ireland.
How can a title that existed before another one be a rehash? I've played the original resident evil 3:nemesis in playstation one back when i was a kid and this was always the ending. Fighting this monster at the factory then chopper to escape and racoon city being nuked. The only difference was that the rail gun in the original was more of a cannon than a gun.
@Starscream91 idk, i have kind of a mixed feeling, taking out the timer feels a little bit fresh since to this point there Is already two games that end with an backwards count but It still had a reason to be there
Now that the dust has settled, I've only now figured out that the final boss fight takes place inside a giant, rectangular coffin... And before that, Jill fought Nemesis in a giant aquamation tank (a container used for cremating corpses in acid). Jill is rising from the dead.
