This secret place is only available in RE 4 HD Project MOD (Fan-Made). The “resident evil 4 HD project” MOD is a complete graphical remaster of the entire game. It includes enhanced textures, 3D models, menus, cutscenes, prerendered videos, lighting, visual effects, and more.

You know it's a passionate project when the creators took a step further by creating a new area for the game to appease us Resident Evil fans.

I found out this entrance on my own, and I had one of the greatest goosebumps of my life. It's like when you dream about finding a secret area in a game, the difference being that it is REAL and you are awake.

Daaaaamn. This room is impressive. It's so well integrated it almost feels like it belongs there. Minus the messages and Easter Eggs pictures, y'know, but it still feels pretty cool, and I'll bet a very nice surprise for people getting this amazing mod. 8 years isn't something to sneeze at, mad props.

RE4HD Project is simply the best & the biggest RE mod to date.

This…just takes my breath away. 8 long years of hard work and dedication to provide the world with the newest, most definitive version of one of the most iconic, if not, the GOAT games in the entire franchise. Then to put a cherry on top with this golden Easter Egg that not only depicts the immense work put into it, but once and for all provides the ability to equip the suppressed Silver Ghost outside of The Mercenaries! With that, can we also see what description was written for said weapon WITHOUT full upgrades? In any case, thank you so much for this video Kendo!

The sound design for the silenced pistol is well thought of. The bullet's impact on the water being louder than the shot but still hearing the cycling of the pistol was a good touch.

it's quite unsettling to see new things in a game you know inside out, it freaked me out a bit. it reminded me that resident evil 4 is scary if you play it for the first time, sounds goofy but i totally forgot. this is an amazing mod and can't wait to play it. thanks for showing us!

Thank God I wasn't aware of them adding this room. So when I saw I could enter through those gap in the wooden planks when playing this game, I was so confused. Then entered this weird room, didn't take me that long to figure out this was the room I saw in the release trailer of the mod. The background soundtrack, and the overall atmosphere made me uncomfortable ngl. Maybe they should add Super Dr. Salvador in this area if you play the game with newgame+ That would be a nice surprise and catch the players off guard since they wouldn't be expecting him.

Playing Resi 4 for the first time in August 2022 and this area blew my mind since I am constantly searching for treasure wikis but unable to confirm this location in the wikis. I was also creeped out by the ominous music and the large circular pathway with cryptic huts that contain unkown messages. Do those explain the mystery of those creepy merchants that pop just out of nowhere? Whoever made this mod deserve all the credit. It's the best remaster I've seen.

Fucking beautiful. Ive always thought to myself why isnt there anything down there? Its a dark and spooky little area that i always find myself jumping down to, after not playing for years, only to be disappointed with darkness and 1 item. Youve transformed it into a beautifully crafted easter egg and i found myself gasping and "woooahh"-ing i wish i could try this mod holy cow. What a fantastic passion project and im so glad theres still so much love being put into my favorite game of all time

The room that leads to this mod room has always intrigued me since i saw it in 2006 with my ps2, i always thought this has to lead somewhere, is it an unfinished level/room i would stay a long time there trying to find something, this video makes me feel kinda satisfied tht i finally found something in tht room

I've just came across this location myself and was surprised to find something like this. I initially thought this has always been part of the vanilla game and I just never discovered it on my previous playthroughs. I didn't know that's actually part of the HD project! Really spooky and macabre stuff, bravo to Albert for his years of dedication and passion for this project.

I would love if the developers of this mod created extra rooms like this for the whole game. I would even donate. I don't know how hard it would be to create new enemies, but maybe new puzzles? I always wished Re4 had a super boss, a reason to actually get the handcannon other than one shotting everything. The quality and effort put in to this mod is incredible. I always wanted Wesker's silencer. Great job!

I remember using cheat engine for the pc version to turn a first aid spray into the silencer in the beginning of the game. Very cool to see it actually added into the world.

I have to admit when I first found this place i thought it was part of the game that i missed the music and atmosphere had me tense up a bit. kudos to the creators of the hd project

It seemed strange to me when I entered it, did not remember for this place despite playing the game for so many times. The long wooden bridge felt off. Then I saw the pink flame. It was such a great surprise.

That's cool, that little blocked off path always felt like it should have lead somewhere

Been playing this game for long time but never found this place in original game, mby it's not even there but I am glad that I find this place in HD game version and the silencer is dope, just what I needed for my 9mm gun, ty you for this awesome game.

I always wondered why Wesker was the only one with a silencer. What made it cool was that you could detach it and discard it if you wanted to. Which I always did in mercenaries because you need that extra inventory space for ammo and grenades.

I always felt like the story of Los Plagas was so much more ancient and terrifying than Resident Evil 4 or 5 could possibly encompass. Their "culture" was rumoured to exist since the Neolithic period (or maybe even before). With this addition I feel like we're seeing what the Plagas must have considered a holy site that housed a sacred relic. Who knows how many more surprises they have for us? We still don't know many of the Plagas might be left. Perhaps there are none or only a handful survived. Or perhaps Saddler wasn't even close to the most powerful variant, and there are even stronger members of his kind building a massive army deep underneath the ground to one day conquer the surface world. I love it when modders do this kind of world building. The best kind of story is the one that grows bigger and deeper the more you look into it - at no point does it ever feel like it's all wrapped up and simple. In other words, well done and kudos to everyone involved in this project. You've accomplished something incredible!

amazing and unique content! I've never expected the fact that you can pick the silencer in vanilla... I thought it is the exclusive for Vesker in minigames.

Firstly I'd like to thank who ever made this modd available, secondly the way it fits in with the game is insane, not only did they manage to create Leon's nightmare les plagues but using a different toned flame for each little area is a nice touch all that was missing was a few enemy's or a challenge spot set by the merchant or even a mini game like the scan and destroy from the R&D

When I found this area I was so confused and creeped out. The music fits so well too.

I found this place accidentally when I was looting some items around. I was surprised and creeped out when I got into this area. I thought I was experiencing mandela effect, because I never encountered this area before when I played the game year ago. This HD project did some few modification of the game, there is one area I remembered that has no enemy on it but they added some which really surprised me as well.

I thought this area existed in the original game. After seeing the real photos and the wanted poster of the modder I came to know this was done by the modders 😻😻😻

That's really cool. Although it does not have the same vibe as the game, its still something the mod creator wanted to put in and it honestly feels eerie in a good way. He built a nice atmosphere in that secret room that I really appreciate :D

that's cool. just re-got the game on pc a couple days ago since i played the Sh*t out of it on the PS2 and loved it then an old friend of mine was streaming it on YT and told me about the HD Mod so i said screw it, and started playing it with the MOD, loving it and then i just now found this area and was like... "WTF??, i don't ever remember this place....??" lol. which lead me here. definitely big props to the people who did the mod. and to you for showing this with explanations as well. as i was curious and wanted to know.

3:15 "Polvo" means dust, censoring it makes no sense. I know that "polvo" is used in some other contexts too but here is very obvius it's just talking about dust.

Honestly I miss secret rooms like this in games its like finding a secret developer room and seeing the people who made it only this one is made a modder who made it for the fans just watching this like it said in the creators comments on the video "An ominus area with ominus music to relax and make you wonder where you are" but gives nice creepy vibes and I like that. I havent played this mod but just watching this Im gonna have to :D
