+Jin Kisaragi (Hero of Ikaruga) for me wesker was always a badass throughout the entire RE series bro no matter what game he was in he was always the boss lol (shame he was killed in RE5 though which really sucks i mean he is one of the central figures and the only ultimate villain in the resident evil saga after all)
Wesker is the best villain in any Survival Horror game, nuff' said. He is just the epitome of badassness. I agree he is a LITTLE cheesy and cliche in RE5 but it makes him even more likable in my opinion. Dat voice as well, just so intimidating. Love ripping through everything in mercs as him.
Yea agreed :) I am decapointed that Capcom ruined her sister Alex who couldve been a badass villain like her brother too... Well i guess thats mean to let Albert at the top villain and no1 can replace him :P

The Eater Of Worlds I still have my hopes in Alex if you saw the true ending at the end. You know who could be a villain in the future. Not saying that it will be better than Albert but at least a decent antagonist/villain is what I want.

+Seth_Nile Gameplay wise, you can't do melee attacks by themselves. All those bad ass Martial Arts moves are useless if the enemies if they aren't stunned. Also because hand to hand with dual chainsaw wielding giants is suicide.
No he is right. Wesker could take them all out with just his hands. He has superhuman strength, reflexes, speed, durability, etc. Also, he has plenty of martial arts skills along with other skills he's mastered over the years. He's survived RPG warheads and magnum rounds to the face plenty of times. I don't think a chainsaw is going to do it, and his speed is more than enough to dodge it. Not to mention he has a healing factor as well.

My first re game was Re4 and when i first played Wesker in Mercenaries i was instantly amazed cause i can punch everything away from me and had no clue why. Now i know
+Dani ButtPirate now that you've said it yes it does sound like umbrella-ish well i think that's because wesker is a former umbrella researcher and also he was also trying to create a new umbrella within his own hands (he actually said it in one of the files of RE4) but that will never happen cause he met his end in RE5 which really sucks (i was quite mad and disappointed of why capcom killed wesker too soon he was such a magnificent villain in the RE series but whatever) lol i just hope that his sister alex wesker will do justice as the next main villain in the next RE game
Rainsor (spoilers) i don't know if you have played the game or not yes i know claire managed to kill the real alex wesker (who transformed into an uroboros monster) with the rocket launcher along with barry burton but unfortunately before she died alex actually managed to transfer her consciousness into natalia since she was the only compatible candidate to alex wesker (still i don't know how the hell alex wesker managed to transfer her own consciousness into another person's body which is quite weird for me because in previous RE games no was able to do what alex could but whatever lol i guess that's just the way it is since RE is a fictional game after all) so yeah natalia possessed by alex wesker is gonna be likely the next or maybe the final villain in the next future RE games
This badass wesker was missing from re5 , the re5 one just had the power to stop rockets. And he died they killed an interesting character and left us with nothing.
Capcom releasing a Ultimate HD edition of RE4 on Steam soon. Preordering it give you the OST of the game. But you know what's better than that? Thrust punching zombies with this theme playing.

I would LOVE to see Wesker and Jake interact. Just imagine the fight. Well, it would be a total butt-whooping for Jake, so you can't really call it a fight. But it would be awesome!
It should be once Wesker is added in the Mercenaries mode. I believe there's the classic soundtrack, so if you want to hear this, then you have to buy that.
It doesn't matter who they bring in to replace him. Wesker is the ultimate badass in the resident evil mythos, and will remain so forever more. Honestly, considering how many corpses move around in this series i really don't think we've seen the last of him.
i liked RE4 alot. i felt it was a good change of pace to have "smarter" enemies. uroboros is just another evolution for the t-virus. after all, they both came from the progenitor virus. las plagas,though, was kinda weird to me....at first. added some variety to RE. RE4 was also good for other 3rd person game like GoW, MGS, etc.
@MegamanZ9000 Friend/fellow youtube commenter that was indeed sarcasm in my previous post. If you played marvel vs. capcom 3 you notice he seems to be unable to live without the sunglasses and thus always seems to have an infinite amount of them. I did a bad job at getting this across but its not a problem I still want those sunglasses and would definitely get powers from them lol
seriously, they make an awesome bad guy and they end up killing it in the end. re5 was the first he transforms into something different and mutating. tat ending really pissed off every wesker fan!
@deadspace93 Jill was only ever canonically kidnapped by Wesker once. In RE1(which the Director's Cut was a re-release of) neither Chris nor Jill were kidnapped. They were both simultaneously exploring the Spencer Mansion with Rebecca & Barry. The reason why they were "kidnapped" was to give an explanation as to where they were during the game even though Chris & Jill were with Barry & Wesker prior to entering the Mansion.
You know if you really listen to this song you can hear Zealot Ganados "Cogedlo, Cogedlo, Cogedlo," & a few other phrases. Anyway, Wesker's Mercenaries theme is the best. I really wish it was his theme in RE5 & MvC3. Although his theme in those games are cool too.

Oh, it happened. But the Wesker we saw was merely a clone used by the real Wesker to fake his death (again) with the BSAA as his witness. The clone probably never knew he was being used, because Wesker is smart enough to trick himself.

this is one thing i like over RE4 mercs than RE5 mercs, everyone had their own theme song. i liked playing wesker in 4 because this music always had me pumped up to play him, all the other themes for the characters didnt really do anything for me, so i only played them to unlock stuff.

did I say they were the only ones? No, there are other antagonists still out there, ones even more encompassing than Wesker potentially. Either way, they can still come up with new villains like they've done for EVERY SINGLE GAME so far.
There was more than one Wesker. Prior to Resident Evil 5, all but two of them were pronounced dead. Now that Albert is dead, Alex is the only one left. He went into hiding because he found the secret to immortality and didn't want Spencer to have it.

Imagine if Wesker actually took the time to physically involve himself in the las plagas incident. We’ll never get the chance to see how Leon would have fared against him as opposed to Chris (who’s brawn and rugged brawling techniques seem to be absolutely no match for Wesker’s super human speed)
