@@Xendrius I’m not even an atheist lol I was born Christian, u are weird bro. No they are not using Fukin demons - how stupid can you be?? You must think CGI and camera tricks are demons HAHA - no wonder why your views plummeted u irrelevant twat
This is not the standard difficulty. This is a special mode specific only to the demo called Mad Chainsaw mode where the enemies are much more powerful and aggressive.
You just have to look at these remakes as totally different games - an alternative to the original, not a full on replacement. The OG RE4 will always hold a special place in my heart.
The thing with RE4 is that the game didn't even needed a remake, aged like wine, so if you don't like the Remake, is not like the original plays like trash, like the 2 and 3.
I don't agree about the naked ghosts. If there was actually a naked ghost, it would still be scary. Imagine you were home alone and you suddenly saw a naked man in your house, you wouldn't laugh "haha, there's a crazy man in my house but I'm not scared because he's naked", it will still be scary. So you are WRONG!
Glad you uncovered more mechanics of the game and can see it in kind of a different perspective. As i said i am a game dev and as a game dev nowadays we look for realism, that’s true. (Depends on the kind of game) I can see why you were kinda upset about it overall, not having found all the gameplay mechanics and what they mean. As far as my knowledge goes u are also a speedrunner, so i can see from your perspective not liking the turn around animation even if you can quick turn. I think that overall you will enjoy the game and have a good experience once you have fully adapted to the new gameplay mechanics you may also even like to speedrun it. Wish you the best :3
Not to be annoying or anything but, I thought we play games to not be in realism at least before, we all did but now they have to be completely logical and realistic. Things change I guess
@@jesusrodriguezcolon8315 I see your point. But in that sense u can choose other types of games. There’s lots of games that don’t go for the realistic aspect. Sure the triple A games wanna go for a safer route and they know that the average gamer wants a realistic experience. Although there’s all types of gamers. If you do t seek realism u have lots of other games.
@@RenFlexx very true, though not everyone would take that into consideration when buying a game even I don't XD But it's all cool, as long everyone enjoys what they're playing ^^ Thanks for the kind reply
@@HouseTrapJay true but after playing the demo the only real gripe i had was that the movement speed is kind of to slow and i think its annoying that the knife has durability now.
@@HouseTrapJay You are missing the point. Even if you play the OG, RE4 was a game that in its era strikes for realism. Believe it or not, RE4 OG aimed to perfection in that era, and that perfection aimed itself to realism. You may say that u don’t play RE4 for realism, but the first thing that kids said when played RE4 at the time was… WOW this is so realistic. Now, 20 years later, we’ve applied the same premise just with the new technology and without the hardware limitations that were present back in the day. What i mean to say is that if you strike for other kinds of animations or other genres you always will have masterpieces like Mario or Platoon. (Just 2 quick examples). If you wanna stick with RE, you’re more than welcome. Enjoy the remake and if you find that you still wanna play the OG that’s fine too…
Movement is kinda sluggish on keyboard and mouse when tried on PC jus tried on ps5 with dualsense edge and movement is fluid af on controller jus wish it felt same on mouse
@@donm1719 Looking back, not only did it not kill OG RE4 speedruns, its own speedruns were very short lived, in part cuz Capcom kept patching things speed runners used. Such is life.
"you scared of someone that's naked" bro acts like being naked wasn't an ancient intimidation technique. Because if you think about it if someone comes at you naked without even the thin layer of protection of clothes you can assume they are mental.
@@luislopez-dz4zz If you are asking whether anything from the Demo carries over, the answer is no. The TMP will obviosuly be in the full game, but it's a normal weapon which means you won't start it with regardless of what you do (there will surely be unlockables after you finish your first playthrough that will allow you to start with other special weapons though).
I kinda love and hate the fact that the knife is a resource. I guess they had to balance it out with the parry system. Parrying probably is going to be better in the harder difficulties where enemies take a third of ur health with one punch. Def gonna buy day 1.
I’m assuming you find knives as consistent drops, they may have different characteristics - like you could be juggling multiple knives for their different traits for all we know.
It makes sense since you can find them. My guess if it’s anything like re2 you can find them consistently so the game just wants you to worry even tho there is one right around the corner.
@@CC-oi9mcI’m pretty sure you don’t find knives, from what I’ve seen you have 1 knife and if it breaks you go to the merchant to repair it and you can upgrade its power and durability
