Krauser is literally Vergil, dude lost everything and it traumatized him enough to become a demon for unlimited power. And I mean the song reminds me of him too. It's awesome.
1:41 amazing how the music ramps you up as the hero here once you’ve figured out his movements and turning the tides. Masterpiece soundtrack for a masterpiece of a game
@@silverhunter8149My jaw dropped when I found out one of the death animations just has Krauser popping Leon’s head clean off and he just flicks the blood away while saying “You’ve done well to accept this power” *Chills*
Dude I'm SO glad they kept the original theme and layered it perfectly. I felt so badass the entire sequence. Krauser wasn't that hard, but he sure put up a fight, and so did Leon. It felt real and I was honored 🎖
@@TheHummingBirdJaiyelol so in my first playthrough of the game, I went with Hardcore difficulty since the game legit tells you it's for those who played the original. I died a total of 156 times in that playthrough and beat it in 26 hours lol. It turned the game into more a survival horror rather than action game on Hardcore. I'm tackling Professional mode next but this playthrough I will stream it lol. Wanted to immerse myself in the game my first playthrough without distractions of chat lol.
1:41 The Game Awards Orchestra Edit: Sadly, Resident Evil 4 Remake did not have any game award, but has it orchestrated is enough to be one of the best games of 2023
@@cloudshines812nah, Resident Evil 4 was the best Resident Evil for a long time until RE 2 showed up, and then only to get bested by RE 4. RE4 only didn't win the GoTY because the GoTY is staged.
Just listening to the OG version. So many of the notes are extremely short and lowered. Nothing crazy. They took those notes and put them up to 11 and I fucking love it!
At 1:18 when i played this for the first time i was like "HOLY SHIT, CALM DOWN GAME, CALM THE FUCK DOWN I CAN'T HANDLE THIS". This fight the first time was a real challenge, and with this song it made for such a memorable moment
Krauser is definitely a contender for best boss in the game. The entire section where you fight him was so fun. The knife combat is so clean and fun to play, and dodging his attacks and countering felt awesome too. I love how this game fleshed out characters like Luis, Salazar and Krauser to make them feel a lot more realistic. Krauser and Salazar felt like generic bad guys in the original game. But little bits of backstory and lore that they added to these characters makes you connect with them so much more, like Ramon's backstory of insecurity about his height, which was caused by sickness when he was young, causing him to be made fun of and mocked, and Krauser with operation Javier. And obviously, they went all out on the music. Best RE soundtrack in my opinion.
This game made me feel like there was actual tension between Leon and Krauser. Student vs Mentor… like Anakin and Obi Wan. Ironic because both released in 2005 too :)
@@christophermichaelclarence6003 The thing is that the band has vibes of duels of fate from Star Wars, that's how I saw it, because for me this fight decided Ashley's future, if Leon lost that was the end, it was all or nothing, this fight against Krauser.
_Krauser lying down after the badass fight_ Krauser: "I trained you well...Leon." _Leon puts knife onto his chest_ Leon: "That you did, Major. That you did." Leon and Krauser really had a cool bond between each other, only wished it didn't end like this.😢
I completely agree, this fight was decisive for Ashley's future, because at this point in the game, Krauser was Saddler's last card to play to stop Leon.
As i said before, if this game doesn't get the goty award i'm an electrolux fridge. Edit: So i just watched the final fantasy xvi demo... nevermind. Sorry RE4R but FFXVI might deserve it more.
I somewhat agree the remake is phenomenal but it's not 100% faithful like dead space remake they took out the u3 bossfight but I also think remakes should be nominated either since it's unfair to new games and indie games but if it does win then I'll be happy still
@@juliogomesdesouza9035 not disagreeing but It would have been my GOTY if they had the U3 bossfight but if they somehow add it in then yeah RE4R would most likely be my GOTY if starfield flops if starfield doesn't flop that's an easy choice for me
@@Ghostsoldier2112 U3 literally added nothing to the game, it was unnecessary and didn’t even feel interesting to fight against. I 100%’d re4 thrice and u3 is my least favourite part tbh
@V Rowe the adrenaline, horrific appearance and how different it is is what makes it so iconic to me also I see why they removed it because it was "divisive" part of the island
The moment I heard the first bits of this track on the 3rd trailer I knew it was gonna be amazing. And HOLY SHIT they delivered! This soundtrack is straight up fire! Honestly I love the original RE4 as much as anyone but I feel like this remake somehow topped it! And I feel like Krauser was one of the characters that got the biggest improvement. The change to being a sort of mentor figure for Leon honestly made the connection that much stronger, like a broken pedestal kind of figure, and this theme takes everything. The original theme amped up to 11, with a more heroic tune added, and a hint of tragedy to the whole thing. I absolutely love every second of it all. Bravo Capcom. Hats off to you.
man they absolutely nailed this game, i had some doubts after re3 remake but hearing that 2 remake devs will make this remake and damn they knocked it out of the park. This destroys the RE2 remake in comparison. THIS is how you make a remake.
@@amarson2322 its funny and sad how they Purposely Fucked Up Resident evil 3 Remake but Slapped the ost but game play story failed hardly and dam RE 3 1999 Was my favorite game and they Butchered re 3 remake so hard :(
Music like this not only makes me enjoy something new and unique but it also makes me appreciate the original even more since all my focus was on battling Krauser. At any rate, I fucking love this song
I like the new Krauser, he is not just a showy and smug son of a bitch. They somehow made Krauser much more "human" in the remake and a bit less cliché too. Before the end he even calls Leon by his name and compliments him by telling that he was very well trained. It seems to me that Krauser was, somehow, quite pleased to see Leon defeat him that way.
Incredible soundtrack! It's one of the best songs in the remake! I absolutely love the usage of the choir here. It makes it sound more powerful in my opinion.
I’m glad Capcom is leaning into the Remake osts more and more. Even if the OGs became a lil too action oriented towards the end, the soundtrack doesn’t deserve to be neutered.
When i heard krauser's new voice for the first time i was like nah this aint upgrade but as the game progresses I rlly loved the remake and the og krauser's voice actors
The problem with the Remake bosses is that they're all good and I can't definitively pick out one I liked the most, but, Bitorès, Verdugo, and Krauser are probably top 3
they did a fine excellent Job with re 4 ITS MY 10TH time playing it with the remake music i dont think im gonna swich to the original music its just i dont know re 4 remake soundtrack is JUST WAY TO dam EPIC ! my jaw dropped so hard of the enemy and boss theme like my gosh GOTY ...Anyone ?
De niño me erizaba la piel la pelea con Krauser, la canción me encantaba, rogaba que en remake la mantuvieran, la mantuvieron y no solo eso, la mejoraron ❤
Ive been playing this game for the foyrst time this weekend. A bit late, but better than never. I cant believe how nostalgic it is... Even more so than RE2 remake... And i thought this would flop. Im sorrry for ever doubting. Everything from the story, the writing, the gameplay, and the soundtrack... Everything is simply amazing. They really nailed it. I was 12 when i first played re4. Now im 30 and i couldn't have asked for a better remake
What a fucking great cover of the original; this remake was crafted with so much love. Could you upload the boss fight of the chainsaw sisters? No luck finding that anywhere.
best ost of this remake, thought is was Saddler theme but the 3 last bosses themes are just awesomes (I don't count iron maidens as they're elite for me)
Great video! Although the Resident Evil 4 remake is out, I'm still playing a lot of the original on mobile. In fact, on my latest episode of my RE4 series, I just passed through the cabin with Louis and both paths. It was intense! Keep up the great work!
The only bad thing about re2 remake is musics..... And now we are here... RE4 Remake with good musics.... Especially this theme and of course... 1:40 moment Very well capcom... Very well👏
