Yeah, OG RE4 peaks at the castle for me... This one though, it keeps getting better and better, it's all up from the moment you start, and does reach a crescendo in that final act. 10/10 I swear.... I gave it like a 9.6-9.8 when I first started playing, and when I'd just finished .. It's rare that the score goes UP after I was done. It usually goes down in hindsight. Not by a lot, but still... It doesn't go up. That's unusual.
@samf.s.7731 Because the castle is the perfect balance of the Island and Village. Long range enemies are introduced and the melee becomes more complex, plus the enemies start wearing armor, but they cultists still not as fast or aggressive as the mercenaries
Everyone keeps referencing Wonder Woman but I think Resident Evil wise its a nod to Chris’ Theme in Village when shit hits the fan and him and his Task Force mow down all the wolves and creatures together! Just unleashing pure hell on the Village with his reinforcements and back up just like here but with Mike lol
Man this music just pumps you up for the final battle with normal enemies in the game... Village and castle felt like you are trapped and must survive.. but island with Mike theme, man I went full out.

Confesso que em partes, me lembrou a música da Mulher - Maravilha., Em 2:15 me bate o sentimento "é hora de mudar os planos e acabar com o filho da mãe". E em 3:03 é como se "alcançasse a metralhadora e começasse a metralhar os inimigos como num faroeste".
This chapter in the original was was really bad imo. Leon did not have the tools, nor the moveset to handle being shot from multiple locations at once, and the enemy spam was just.... Too much. The remake really fixed this chapter.

2:17 This is the part where Mike tells you hes out of ammo. It underscores that Leon's been there on his own the whole time, backup is good, but its not always around. It fully drives home to the player that Leon is no longer anything like his was in RE2. He's a hardened soldier now, even beyond that, he's like James Bond
