As much as I enjoyed Re8 for its greater interactions, and overall its an excellent VR port, I enjoyed Re4 WAY MORE!!! Re8 could never reach the amount of fun brought by Re4, neither with flat or VR versions... And fun is the root of gaming. Re4VR is gorgeous, easy to master, rarely ever boring, and incredibly fun! I mean, things always escalate in this game, Re8 is way flatter, never really deep in its action scenes... Like I said, as much as I loved Re8 in VR, compared to Re4, it's almost a boring game (its kinda exagerated of course), because the intensity of action in Re4 simply is out if this World! But Re8 emphasizes more on slow and creepy atmosphere, Re4 is more about gun blazin' Both are very good at serving their purpose, but one of them is definitly more fun! Maybe we should just consider that both games are incredible and do not rely on the same basics simply because they don't seek to deliver the same expérience Re8 is more atmospheric, and Re4 is more intense 😎

@@spiderman2638 nah but AW2 grabbed so many awards, sure it’s a decent game but it had so many issues and was a buggy mess and RE4 at least released polished and was good but it didn’t get anything, it should’ve got beat action and adventure game or even best audio design.

Not as seamless, interactive, impressive or as polished as RE Village VR was, but still a great time nonetheless. I just wish the cut scenes had a 3D effect applied to them, along with the option to turn off the tunnel vision when 'crouching', and the ability to play in SDR rather than the forced HDR which unfortunately, washes the picture and colours out and alters the atmosphere. A PS5 Pro could get it running at 90fps with max 2K per eye. That 90fps would eliminate the motion duplication, reduce motion blur and make the motion look smoother and more realistic. Could happen when it launches in late 2024. But it's about now, and unfortunately VR requires a lot of power to get visually demanding games like RE4R running good, and the PS5 just isn't powerful enough to get the most out of it. 60fps reprojection sucks. :P

@@ernestramirez5677 Village VR, is just jaw dropping at times, especially during some of the first person based VR cut scenes, like when you wake up in that underground lair, to that yappy zombie doll and cackling ogre standing just a couple feet away from your face. That was the first big OMFG moment for me on PSVR2. Then the argument breaks out between Eisenberg and lady D, followed up with the brilliant lycan chase. it was and still is incredible. However, when the enemies get up in your face in RE4R VR, it feels like the 3D effect isn't as striking, in your face or pronounced like it was in Village, or games like Switch back. Feels like Capcom Dialed it down a notch. Where as in Village, They enemies feel like they're up close and personal, it just feels more realistic and freaky, as if the 3D effect is dialed up to 100. But ya, RE4R VR's indoor areas look very detailed and impressive, but once you go outdoors the visuals etc take a hit as expected, as they do in village VR.

Village is a much more rewarding and repayable game, though. RE4 feels very tedious in all areas and tries too hard to be suspenseful. Just doesn't feel like it's meant to be played more than twice since it's also so story based

I’m playing both 4 and 8 in VR for the first time and I absolutely agree with you. As great as 4 is, 8 is just that much more immersive. A lot of those little things add up big to the overall experience.

@@alanfun2903 I played Boneworks VR, and I got motion sickness. Its the only VR game I have ever played that gave me it, and I have played a lot. I think its to do with the camera height being at the models neck or something (not sure). I felt so ill for the whole day it was insane. It was like someone had gut punched me and spun my head around hundreds of times ha. I get your point, but considering how many people who would buy this as newbs to VR, if they all got motion sickness the neg reviews would come ploughing in. Good idea for the turning off and on option though, although if I had the option I wouldnt want motion sickness again, regardless of how good the game is.

@@Phantom-kc9ly i agree now... its not meant to be a full on vr game its meant to be a way to experience a original AAA flat screen 3rd person game completely in VR. Once I grasped what it really is I want more like it. I wish every game had a vr mode. I'm just used to vr made games. They may havevmore interaction but not near the level of graphics and action that most AAA flat screen games offer. Imagine red dead redemption 2 in vr it already has the perfect interactive frame for it
