Resident Evil 4 VR - Verdugo Boss Fight (4K 60FPS) 

Hell yeah, heart attack simulator now in VR KEKW

This fight is so fun in vr. Looking back while you’re running seeing Verdugo full sprinting at you is insane.

So fucking cool, it's totally life changing to be able to move to any direction while shooting, vr looks really fun

I can't imagine how scary this game must be playing for the first time in VR.

I remember reading from a post that the original Verdugo has the highest HP of any enemy unit in the game (bosses included): 981 hit points. When frozen, he takes X3 damage. So if you don't want to one-shot him with a rocket, and opt to fight him like in the video, you will have to prepare enough ammo for all the guns available. On Pro difficulty, I used all 4 nitrogen cylinders in the area, about 15 magnum bullets, 2 hand grenades, 150 submachine gun bullets and then 10 shotgun shells. All for the treasure piece on him. LOL. Edit: I think they decided to nerf Verdugo's HP in the VR version, which explains why it was taken down by about 250 submachine gun shots (about 60% hit when Verdugo was frozen).

Honestly have never seen the actual death animation for this thing. Ever since after my first playthrough (where I ran from it), I've always just froze it and used the free Rocket Launcher from earlier in the Castle XD

This part is really nostalgic, used to creep me out like hell when I played this as a kid

Being able to walk backwards fast while shooting makes it look soooo easier compared with the original.... It looks amazing

my heart was beating so hard when I fought against him the first time. Wasted my entire shotgun ammo because I didn't see the liquid nitrogen or whatever it was, and the last rocket launcher shot killed him. I had to take a 2 min break mid fight because it felt like my heart was ripping through my chest. It was my first time playing Re4 btw.

In my fight the door release failed to trigger and I was stuck in there forever just burning ammo pointlessly.

Thanks for this. I was getting pissed. I kept shooting the tanks and nothing happened. Now i know why. On top of that I've been battling the worst case of stick drift i have ever encountered with any controller ever since I started the game so my patience was already thin.

Never played RE4 before so I didn’t realize until I wasted all of my ammo that your supposed to knock the canisters down but I did enjoy running from Verdugo though

I played on easy (call me a coward, I DON'T CARE, I LIKE KICKING ASS!) but I think in all difficulties, RIOT GUN IS YOUR BEST FRIEND IN THIS BOSS FIGHT!

I didn’t know the nitrogen tanks dealt more damage to him, so I just dumped all of the ammo I had into him and had to go through the rest of the play through with almost no ammo.

VR is like on a ps1 level right now as of 2021 because this is still uncharted territory. Can't wait for the day until you quite literally control Leon in game itself. Like how you control him in console and PC but "you're him". As if you're literally inside the game itself.

I love how you can spam the elevator button when you call it, it made for a really funny moment streaming this for my friends. I'm just panicking slamming my finger into the elevator button while my friends scream because they can hear verdugo behind me.

Do you get infinite ammo

The VR version is so awesome and real it's like actually being in the game you move much faster making it easier to avoid getting hit by the enemy.

the mobility of this is enough to sell me on it, i hate how you could never backpedal or strafe in these games

I played this entire game in VR and I have to say that it is definitely second to PC 60fps only because it doesn't have mercenaries and separate ways but other then that I felt like leon and also got terrified at this part and the regenarators

BUT NOT FULLY UPGRADED WEAPONS.

I tried pushing the first doors button and I don’t have the option to. I ran through 30 shotgun shells, 60 handgun, 15 rifle shots, and got annoyed and pulled off my rocket launcher and HE WAS STILL ALIVE. I threw my last 2 grenades and he died. I was beyond frustrated because I had no bullets to I reloaded checkpoint and had to search up a RU-vid video. I’m glad someone posted this video

At 2:40 how is your door turning green? I was playing for 10 minutes running around and it never changed from red? I played this game outside of vr so many times and this has never happened. Glitch maybe?

I always have one technique for this boss. I save my missile for this boss. When he first appears, I throw an incendiary grenade. While he is stunned, I run to the nearest tank, wait a bit until the Verdugo is close to the corner, drop the tank, and when the VErdugo is frozen, fire the missile. Easy-peasy.
