For me the first movie and apocalypse my opinion were badass, extinction and everything after that was shit, it got worse and worse..sadly the games did too RE5 AND RE6 were shit too but fun...but the RE franchise during this time was dying...glad we got the remakes and RE7 and RE8 were amazing as well

I love how Dr. Isaac's whole idea for making Alices was to basically use Neural Networking on clones. Send one in, see how far she got, use the data for the next one, and they would progressively get farther and farther.

That's more like a genetic algorithm. Genetic algorithms aren't really the best algorithm for most problems except when you have an optimization problem you can't figure out by other, better means, basically. In other words, pretty inefficient and kind of a shit approach.

The most I’ve seen anyone have in RE are super human strength and fast regenerative power idc if you make them the biggest ugliest monster there is. Her having powers is so dumb and why the movies are so bad and hated lmfao The first 2 were good then they gave the MC super powers and shoehorned in characters from games in order to keep selling tickets but bastardized all the characters so bad that by 5 and 6 they aren't even resident evil movies anymore just dumb hyper stylized action flicks with flashy and cool shots , but all the flashy and cool shots in the world can't make up for how bad the story the movies have after apocalypse 😅

the movies were good if you either never played the games or just didnt try to compare them to the games. honestly they would have been better if the director wasnt given creative rights to the story because theres a lot of movies that would have been fantastic if the creators never gave directors creative rights which would have forced them to make the actual story and not stuff like this.
