Kind of feel like steve got a bit of Karma for his nonsense in the first game. Not saying it was right to just dump him for 50 odd minutes but still, his introduction for the rest of the crew was extremely poor especially since he was chiding them for not knowing things about the game that are not very obvious. I mean...that is resident evil for you but still. The gameplay seems fun and certainly seems more entertaining once they know what is going on.
Some details about this game and maybe nobody cares: Hunk wasn´t supposed to be playable by normal means. There was a 3rd game in the making that never came out and in the 3rd game there was going to be scenario were you meet "Mr. Death" and his team while you face Birkin, in fact , his model is in the game files. By using the save transfer system of the game one can import the unlockable characters from each game and the 3rd game would have Hunk. In the Desperate times scenario, Kevin (the police officer) can check Leon´s Curriculum and comment about it.
They're gonna get the elephant. He broke out of his little containment. If you leave him there he doesn't break out but you can't go in the room for long. Otherwise they'd fight the alpha lion
@@dougbarrett619part2 If you get the hunting rifle and its ammo, 2-4 shots should do it on Easy/Normal difficulty. I've been playing Outbreak games lately since watching their stream and I was shocked how fast I killed the lion lmao
Ah, good times. The first and only Resident Evil I ever played. Didn't know much English back then and it was my first survival horror game so I was quite oblivious to what I'm supposed to do. I had to rely on instinct and trial and error. I only ever finished the Wild Things map. Managed to defeat both the elephant and the lion. Went pretty far on the Asylum. Got too scared in the Subway to continue. Didn't have a memory card so all my runs are save-less. Also, no. I had no one to play this with.
Steve died early in this run (12:50), and for some reason, they didn't reset the game to get him back, even though they did for Simmons in the previous game. (Outbreak doesn't have revives, and doesn't allow dead players to spectate, so once you're dead, there's NOTHING you can do.) I can't say for sure what Steve was feeling, but I would've felt a little left out, and Kenny's constant jabs weren't helping. I'm sure the doods are all fine, but it was an awkward stream for sure.
@@RexBuyeo Max was interested in continuing File 2, since the controls are tighter and they could all discover it together. (Steve's evidently played Outbreak 1 a ton, and wanted to take charge during that game.)
@@0Aberration I remember him saying that on stream. I hope he has a change of heart and goes back to the first one. I think the controls are just fine, my biggest gripe about this game was the loading times. It's crazy that it is still slow even on the emulator. I wonder if there is a way to make it faster besides getting an actual PS2 and installing it on a HDD. I felt like Steve got really pissed off at the other DOODs mid stream and he also just left abruptly in the last stream. Hope there is not trouble in paradise.
