Bravo Team was essentially wiped out except for Rebecca. Alpha Team came out better from the Spencer Mansion. Poor Brad though, survives RE1 to only get brutally killed by Nemesis. Only to then come back as a zombie you can kill in RE2.
@@BreThulhlu IF Brad hadn't panicked, the surviving Alpha's would bail and Rebecca woulda been left for dead and they never woulda uncovered the Umbrella Conspiracy. Also, while he DID panic, Brad DID remain in area to pick them up by the end, even helped provide the survivors with the Rocket Launcher.
@@BreThulhlu Reminder, he was left alone with the helicopter in a forest full of zombies and zombie dogs. Odds are he only had a side-arm (since everyone but Joseph seemed to only carry pistols, it's reasonable that's all Brad was carrying, as well), so he would've been greatly unprepared for direct combat against B.O.W.s. Further, he's a helicopter pilot. He's not part of the ground team. His job is to take care of the chopper and to secure the evacuation. Unsafe conditions are the only reason he wasn't able to get to us sooner. Ultimately, if he hadn't fled, Alpha Team would have died in the mansion explosion, or possibly would've been overrun by the Tyrant.
In the N64 version of RE0 (that never got released), when Edward Dewey is found on the train he's missing his hand, in the original RE game Joseph finds a severed hand just before Joseph was attacked by the Cerberus. Capcom and the Directors were going to explain the severed hand to be Edward Dewey's hand in RE0(N64) but when they scrapped the N64 version for the Game Cube version they kept Dewey with both his hand since in the Remake of RE1 Joseph never found the severed hand, but was just straight up attacked by the Cerberus instead.
@@MavisRecon Yeah, censorship is garbage. What I find hilarious is the recently released version of RE1 on GOG has the scenes in tact, Joseph showing the full severed hand, and the scene where Kenneth's head is decapitated, they also kept the one shot kill sequence where the Hunter rips off your head and looks at it. But idk anyone who still uses GOG when even most classic games get ported to PC and are on Steam. I've been playing the Seemless HD Fan Remake of RE1 and it's got all the Uncensored stuff restored in it.
HOLYY shit thank you for sparking a nostalgia!! I grew up in Japan as a kid during the 90s and would watch my dad play this original version that came out in Japan on the PS1. In the beginning cutscene after the helicopter crashes they are searching around the woods when Joseph Frost first sees a severed hand on the ground which is what distracts him right before he is kills by the Cerebus’s. Which if I remember, I think of original cutscene were actual actors. Instead of character modes. I totally forgot about this until I read your comment about a “hand” and instant it came flooding back.
I love how they had Shotguns, assault rifles, SMGS, Magnums.... Yet all they took on a DANGEROUS HUNT IN CANNIBAL INFESTED FORESTS was a couple of pistols...
This always got to me. American Police have assault rifles and military gear even for minimal threat level. Yet they went into a wide ass area woods, with pistols... and they was police special forces not the average police street patrol.
Back then in 1996, before the North Hollywood Shootout, the police were only pistols with shotguns in their vehicles. LAPD during that shootout had to get AR-15s in local gun shops in 1997.
Richard was probably the most unlucky dude in the whole franchise. No matter what, he was destined to be munched by some genetically modified oversized rampaging beast
What I STILL don't know is WHERE was Rebecca Chambers DURING the Raccoon City Destruction? Did she ditch town before the outbreak? Did she too fight for her survival like Jill but on the other side of town away from Jill? Did she have a few encounters with Nemesis between his encounters with Jill? Capcom has not given us this answer and would make for a good video game story to tell.
I believe she was in Maine at the time of the raccoon city incident according to the RE novels by S.D Perry. I'm not 100% that she was since I haven't read them in many years and even if they're not canon they should be because those books are so damn good
@@kriswinklmann6401 SD Perry books are not canon but the review of her character says she returned to school to finish her doctorate in virology to further study the viruses from Umbrella. It says Chris reunites with her to be a consultant for the BSAA when it was being formed. It also states Rebecca later in 2005 assisted in the St Cloud Minnesota outbreak. She even serves as a lecturer at her university in a dual role as a BSAA agent and lecturer in order to use the university's labs for the BSAA. She doesnt see any action till the RE: Vendetta movie
@@kriswinklmann6401 I do like the Perry novels, sadly Caliban Cove, the one about Rebecca in Maine, was one I didn't read. Given they technically aren't canon, it still begs the question of Rebecca's whereabouts during Raccoon City's Destruction.
I think in Vendetta (The CG movie, which is actually canon) Rebecca says she quit like right after RC. I remember it being like around the scene where they mention Breaking Bad. I think one of the BSAA grunts asks her if it was true she used to work as part of a SWAT team, and she confirms it, mentions that she worked with Chris and that she quit because she couldn't really do anything combat wise, but left to study the virus so she could help that way. take what I said with a grain of salt though because I have a bad memory and I read a lot of fan theories and fan fic so it's also entirely plausible someone just had her say that and my mind is falsely remembering that as something that happened. edit: grammar, etc
There’s a bit here that’s inaccurate. Kevin Dooley was not in the original game or its Director’s Cuts instead it was just Edward’s hand that was found. Kevin was made for the remake and RE0.
Busting meth heads in the trailer park of a relatively sleepy midwestern town: Steyr AUGs MP5s Sniper Rifles, Steyr TMPs Investigating military grade bio weapons and zombies: um pistols and flashlights Probably the most realistic portrayal of police in a video game
Other tools were left in the helicopter with Brad. Brad ran, taking their other tools. As for Bravo? Well... Forest had the 'nade launcher, and Richard had the assault shotgun. They probably dropped extra weps in the forest while running. I mean, Chris dropped his friggin pistol, and he's an award winning competition shooter!
Lol I remember this thumbnail picture. My mom said one of the soldiers looked just like me. She liked watching me playing. She saw RE 3 and Code Veronica X, those are the only ones I played to the end.
The narrator forgot to mention that Forrest Speyer comes back to life as a zombie and begs Chris to kill him and, before he dies, Forrest thanks Chris for doing so.
@@mosj9876 Yeah that's right, although there are sources which says that it was Chris who stumbled onto Zombie Forest while exploring the 2nd floor of the Mansion.
@@TheFamousChang ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-3CgbQnI_oeA.htmlsi=gHwyk0pxglMFpDeD he says to chris, "chris please kill me" and "thank youuuuuuuuu" when chris pulls out and fires the rocket launcher at him out of know where. 🤣🤣🤣
ANYONE can be taken by surprise. For example, Jill would be dead before entering the mansion if not for Chris, and Chris would be dead before entering the mansion if not for Wesker.
15:44 -ish Though it's not canon, if you do not save Rebecca from the Hunter (by leaving the room, or IIRC, just standing there long enough - which I think gives a decapitation scene similar to what happens to the player if hit by that attack) she dies. I don't re if that's across ALL versions or just the original PS1 era Director's Cut onward (I vaguely re the OG version not showing this, though I believe Rebecca CAN still be killed in the original version). Similarly, you can leave without freeing Jill (or Chris, vice-versa in Jill's game) from the cell before evacuating, causing them to die in the explosion...I believe you can kill Barry in Jill's game as well (I re being able to have 1, 2 OR 3 survivors in the helo at the end of either Chris/Jill's campaign [the 3rd being Rebecca for Chris/Barry for Jill] depending on choices/actions made...or not, I suppose). Hilariously, as Rebecca is the one that sets the self-destruct sequence in Chris' game, the Spencer Mansion/Arklay Lab stays intact & doesn't explode, showing an undamaged facility in the epilogue despite the narrator mentioning no evidence of the incident was able to be recovered due to the explosion...it's rather odd, as the standard background shown is a destroyed facility in flames & not the pristine, intact one shown in the case of Rebecca's death (meaning Capcom thought of that & INTENTIONALLY added the different background despite it not matching the un-changed narration, for some reason)~
There's no data on the man (red vest, blue long sleeve) on the bottom left of the STARS photo of the original members. Altogether, there are 12 members, which are 6 to each squad. Whoever the man was, Rebecca Chambers was the newest member after him as she was a new recruit when this photo was photo was taken. I don't believe it's Chief Brian Irons.
Why would they creat such weapons knowing they couldn’t control them. I’m highly interested in the research side of this but the application leaves lots to be desired
The scientists likely gave no consideration to this point, and were just turned on by the scientific discoveries. As Ian says in Jurassic Park, "Your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, they didn't stop to think if they should." And scattered across numerous Resident Evil titles you can find emails and written letters from different science personnel admitting how foolish it was and begging for forgiveness, or simply trying to make up for their terrible mistake (i.e. Luis in RE4). As for the top brass, well, they are extremely arrogant and money/power hungry.
It could belong to one of the MP's that were transporting Billy, as the gun is holding doesn't look like the customized Beretta 92F assigned to the S.T.A.R.S. members.
Wesker actually still alive or clone of him in one of the games he talks to agent long after his death and its been proven cannon by the game devs so either he's wasn't the only Wesker that survived the Wesker program like his sister survived it is now acting as the original Wesker with a whole new character Arc with the whole new virus just like with the phobo virus and the sister Wesker 🤷🏻♂️🤔
Qual a verdadeira versao de Resident evil 1? Nenhum final faz sentido. Sobreviveram 5 na mansao. 3 voltaram no helicoptero. Alguem sabe responder?
Lets get this straight. A team sent with more people the first time is M.I.A. Then a team with less people is sent. Sounds like Jeff Goldblum in Jurassic Park 2. That's smart....
Both teams were unknowingly sent in by Umbrella & ment to gather current intel on the situation via Wesker while at the same time used to test the capabilities of there biologically modified weapons aka the Tirants. The STARS was seen as disposable test subjects, them & the UBCS.
Too bad the games n live action film's couldn't be combined. Pissed me off that theres star wars canon AND Legends. I read every one of those dman books.
The live-action films were never canon. Writer and director Paul WS Anderson said the movies were his own take on the game IP. Also RE1 Remake retconned the classic OG RE1 which have become the canon events accepted by Capcom. What's even more confusing is that now all modern remakes like the new RE2, RE3 and RE4 now are considered their own seperate canon events that have nothing to do with the OG RE games with Capcom planning to do a RE1 re-remake and potentially even a RE0 remake to tie them to the RE2, RE3 and RE4 remakes.
Not a clip it's a magazine, do more research. Nothing mentioned that Chris was a fighter pilot in the Airforce and Barry served with him. You got a few more things wrong too, list goes on.
The original game manual from 1996 says they met after Chris got kicked out the Air Force. However, there’s a file in Umbrella Chronicles that states they served in the same unit. So them serving together is cannon now. Also Chris is seen flying a Harrier twice in Code Veronica so he actually is an experienced pilot.
You know what happened to them? They never got their own desks in the RPD station, that's what happened. Ever noticed that? There's only desks for Wesker, Chris, Jill, Barry, and Rebecca. Why no desks for Richard, Kenneth, Forrest, Edward, Brad, Enrico, Joseph, and Kevin in the STARS office? Lazy writing if you ask me. Actually, all the Resident Evil stories are full of plot holes and inconsistencies. The Japanese have always been terrible at writing horror stories.
Truth be told. Resident evil should have ended with nemesis. Not to continue. They overpush the boundary. The first one, the second 1 and the third 1 was the final straw. For me.
I never subscribed to anything after the original PlayStation 1 game, everything after the first game is just a money making venture for capcom, no way was Wesker ever intended to survive the game but script writers can't come up with a new villain so they cook up a lame story that he injected himself.
