He does a tremendous job here. I was trying to figure out how he was able to get everything in so smoothly and paced so evenly, where as I'm really struggling to fit in under 10 minutes. Then I realized that it's because he starts his time and is able to dive right into the problem. In our oral, the time starts as soon as you walk in the door and the assessors reread the scenario to you. Essentially shorting you of almost 2 minutes of time. I have to see where I can trim 2 minutes out, because this guy sounds so polished
This is great drillsmanship. There is a difference between drillmanship and scene management. I'm sure the RIT would be quicker on an actual scene, but he can only speak so fast...

I think with this particular interview scenario(most likely a table top) it’s necessary to explain everything you’re doing and prove your knowledge. Just because it took him a bit to get to RIT doesn’t mean it wasn’t set up in a timely manner on scene. I believe that the interview panel is looking for your calm, cool and collectiveness approach to the incident while hitting all “objectives” as you work your way through... I could be completely wrong on that though lol
Good stuff but it's just so verbatim and to the letter. For a residential garage fire? Lol. Liaison, pio?! Come on now! So robotic. And you keep repeating yourself. I'm surprised you didn't say how a firefighter is supposed to wipe their ass.
