I love the wispiness of the side you chose. The colours are beautiful together. These are stunning as is, but I’m just imaging all of the amazing creations you could add to this technique, like your stunning clouds, or some of your galaxy additions
Top better, it is gorgeous!! good job....would be interesting if you try it again and try to get it to look my a eye?? either way, I love it.... thanks for sharing
For sure the “back” side - the side you chose- the other side has too much gold. But they are SO beautiful. I wanna run straight down to my workshop and try it out! 😀🥰
MOST OF THE TIME I LIKE THE POUR SIDE RATHER THAN THE FLIP SIDE. I still don't know what all of the hoopla is about dragon scales or the quilted look mica powders leave on the upside down. I'm happy to see someone else likes the tops. These are so WOW-ed, like a star exploding. They're too beautiful to put drinks on, and should be sitting in easels or hung on the wall. I could stare at them forever. I do have a question which is why the need for the clear coat first layer and the first color to be transparent? I stumbled across some of the very first coasters I made, before I learned the "rules" and techniques of resin work. I like my first efforts better than most of what I do now. It was a freer time.
I’ve had the same thing happen to me, where I wound up liking the bottoms better. The side you chose reminded me of dandelion seeds. But I really like both sides. Great job!
Beautiful!. I like both sides. But I do have one question…How do you deal with the resin drips from your topcoat? Every time I do a topcoat on my coasters, I get lots of drips of resin underneath. Do you just sand them off?
