Can I just say that for the grades a 1 is a G/F a 2 is a F/E a 3 is an E/D a 4 is a C (which is a pass) a 5 is in between a C and a B (strong pass) a 6 is a B a 7 is an A a 8 is like an A* and a 9 is like an A** It’s very confusing because the numbers don’t exactly compare to the letters they’re slightly different

This was hilarious. I'm 29, and studying to sit my GCSE Maths next year (career change, woo!). When I go in for my exams you can bet I'll be picturing all of you 🤣 Remember anything is possible if you just work! edit: Grade 4 is now a C, or a pass. Grade 5 strong pass

If this gives you any advice here are the numbers to the letter grades, 1: not pass 2: not pass 3: not pass 4: Low C 5: High C 6: B 7: A 8: A* 9: the top 2% of people who got an 8. So Joanne, you could of still gotten a 9

An 8 is an A* a 9 is A** and a 4 is a c so they did pass 🎉

You did get an A* Joanna. A high level 8 is the same as an A*. It’s not a direct transfer between the letters and numbers.

They were teasing you, but I couldn't have read a chapter of Harry Potter in that environment, much less done a MATH TEST! I live in America so I don't know the grading or what the test was, but it sounded hard. You did SO MUCH better than everyone else, in a noisy environment with notes being passed, clearly you're the smartest!

Been having a really tough few weeks… this video made me smile and laugh. And cry wishing I had a group of friends like this. I’m from the USA, so we obviously don’t take these tests but I KNOW I would have been the worst!

@@MrYankees06 each state does different things. I’m Virginia we have SOL tests (yes same as Shit Out of Luck) and you take them multiple times throughout your schooling. But they are nothing like their GCSEs. And WAY different grading scales.

One of the reasons I like this group is the banter. I’m American and American humor makes me cringe because it’s either not funny or it has be offensive to at least one group. But Uk humor or banter- they can make anything funny
