As someone who already has been using Resolume for a while, I have been looking for good videos like this one to send to my tech volunteers/friends in order to help teach them. So thank you for this. Personally, I found the " Creative Use Cases" to be very helpful. I can do a lot of things with Resolume like support LED walls that move/rotate, but I am not creative in the way that is artistic, I'm just a creative in a "problem solving" way (I guess that's just my analytical brain). I would LOVE to see more videos that cover creative use cases for Resolume, like blend modes & masking. Keep it up guys!!!
The syphon is only from the same computer or can be transmitted over the network --- I tried it on the same computer and it does appear but over the network it does not appear, that is, the resolune mac 1 syphon on the pro presenter mac 2 via network does not appear
You are correct. Syphons are for working between 2 programs on the same computer. For network, you will need to output to a video card on machine 1 and then into another video card on machine 2 and treat them as such.
@@sundayscreens Thanks for the information, Greetings from Lima Peru. A question that you will talk about in a video may be interesting, such as how to handle 24 TB of video information in BRAW format, that is, a worship service with 7 cameras but recorded in film cameras (4k), what would be the render, the storage and work process and above all that it is every Sunday for platforms like RU-vid. What would the workflow be like?
This is the Arena version. But all the features I showed here are also available in Avenue. The only extra things you get with Arena are related to advanced tools like projection mapping, etc.
Could you guys make ProRes or DXV formats of these backgrounds available as a download option? Would make being able to pull stuff from the website able to get thrown in quicker rather than waiting to convert a whole pack in Alley. Since Resolume doesn’t act nice with MP4
Hey Dakota, great question! We would love to offer those codecs but would require us to charge more to offset server fees. That said, we have begun offering Prores format as an option in the new Pro+ accounts we are rolling out soon. If you are interested in this, please email us at support@sundayscreens.com!
Yes, you absolutely can! To do so, set up a Syphon as an output in ProPresenter... and then go to your Sources in Resolume to find it as an input and drag it to your column(s) of choice
I dont work for churches, but this is a really unique video, in terms of quality, i have never seens a tutorial like this for resolume, keep going!! Love from Colombia
