Russia's Ambassador Vassily criticised the US, saying that the resolution is complicated because it is attempting to advance Palestinian membership as far as possible without provoking another veto from Washington on full membership.
He said Palestine deserves nothing less than full membership at the UN.
“It is the moral duty of everyone," he said.
“Only full-fledged membership will allow Palestine to stand alongside other members of the Organization and enjoy the rights that this status implies.”

Article 27 (3) of the UN Charter which establishes that all substantive decisions of the Council must be made with “the concurring votes of the permanent members” should be removed. The veto power vested in five permanent members is regularly abused by them. To make the UN, a robust, effective, fair and democratic organisation, all decisions of the UN should be left to the UN General Assembly.

They have a constitution with a bill of rights that guarantees minority voting groups the same rights as the majority voting group. Pure unfettered democracy lets the majority outvote the rights of the minority. Some people call that "mob rule."

Listen from 2:00 he talks about them needing to be on equal status through *SECURITY COUNCIL* decisions not general assembly decisions... He mentions the proposition being submitted to the *UN SECURITY COUNCIL* several times.

Palestine is not yet officially recognised as a country. Pending that, Palestine is considered as Israel illegal colony due Israel Illegal occupation and control. So, the people of Palestine do not have right as Palestinian neither do they have right as Israel equal citizen. As it israel have full control of its border, resources, land, Finance and administration, Palestinian have been denied equal right compared to Israeli.

The 1922 election was annulled because the Arabs boycotted the elections. Only the Christians and Jews came out to vote.
