The United Nations Security Council meeting on Gaza saw widespread criticism of Israel's actions from ambassadors of various countries.
Sierra Leone strongly condemned the recent explosions in Lebanon, while Japan expressed hope for peaceful coexistence between Israel and Palestine. Ecuador urged for an end to the cycle of violence in Gaza, and the UK pressed Hamas and Israel to agree on a truce.
Algeria stressed the importance of Palestinian lives, China denounced the ongoing violence, and Malta highlighted the mass arbitrary detentions faced by Palestinians. Russia also joined in criticizing Israel's actions, emphasizing the need for a ceasefire.
