Just wanted to say that I think this series has been consistently great. Along with your patience and humour, the tutorials are well structured, well explained, and provide a great foundation for further exploration in Godot, either with engine features or with code. I hope your channel gains viewers, because I think this series is very much among the best currently available on RU-vid for Godot, and could help many an aspiring gamedev to get their projects underway!

Will there be more on inventory?

Yes! The next two topics covered will be: 1) Item pickups (which will update the inventory) 2) Saving inventory with the save manager I also plan to add a video about adding some functionality to items, such as making the potions useable to restore health. Any other inventory topics you would like me to consider?

@@MichaelGamesOfficial Are you planing to add crafting to this game? That would be awesome too. For example: like adding a crafting panel next to the inventory, and/or crafting at stations like a workbench or something like that with recipe lists. Maybe expand the pickup subject with adding areas/objects in the world for generating resources etc. These parts of making a game are rarely seen in any of the tutorials on youtube. This time I really liked your Button approach for inventory, because other tutorial series using the same idea. The best part of your series is the diversity, your methods are always a little different, but easy to understand. (or even easier than the other's) Keep up the good work (y) :) Also a few more ideas for future videos in this series: how to implement: -a "map" or "minimap" for the game world / actual level -maybe a job system (it's an rpg right? :D ) -Dialogs and Quests systemm but you probably planing to do this anyway. -if crafting coming, maybe trading and farming ? -maybe a "home level" where you can build, using the area for the "crafting, farming etc", where you can utilise the loots from the adventure.

@@NabuandTheCats All things that have crossed my mind. I honestly can't say how much further I will take the inventory concept in this series - though I will still consider crafting as future one off videos. Your other suggestions are great as well, and some of it will definitely be covered in this series. Thanks for the feedback!
