Caustic's gas needs to have lasting effects that make people not want to push you. It can keep the damage but maybe hinder your running for 30 seconds after leaving it and/or making your aim off center. This would be a good buff idea as its not as annoying as straight up killing you but still imposes a threat with the huge third party meta and fits his story and behavior.

I have had this idea before and others have liked it i think caustic traps should have a doubling effect like 1,1,2,2,4,4,8,8,16,16,32,32, and etc so its not deadly at first but if you want to stay for even morw than a few seconds you will be terrified for ur life

difference between 20 caustics and 20 octanes, the 20 octanes will be speeding around the map looking to 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th party where the team with the caustic will be more passive and defensive, also the jump pads help to cause more 3rd parties and caustics help to PROTECT vs 3rd parties

Hey, i was looking at your "what you want for a season 9" vid. and i thinking on a new fuze buff.... for his ult.. my idea was that you could have it where the fire starts coming like how the ring does but from the original ring of fire.. also up the damage/or increase the slowing effect on it... summary of it would be. make the motherload fire close in on it'self and also either up the first bit of damage or the 8 damage after the firt touch.. that or make the player be even slower then before.

if you could choose maps that would be awesome or like 3 maps rotation cuz if they get kings canyon back I can bunker trap again lol caustics just not that fun now tbh

I’m with Boom. They should not put Caustic back to how he was. Compared to many other legend tacticals, it was just OP before. Now it’s the perfect level of annoying that every other legend is at.

I think maybe the correct balance would be his gas does alot of damage again but they allow it to hurt him and his teammates that way you can't just continuously camp in it and use it as a constant oppressive defence. The enemy team can't use that area, but neither can yours. If anyone griefs with it then like, there's literally a report option for griefing, and it would be pretty simple to spot accounts that grief I expect.

My suggestion to fix caustic both for the annoyance of fighting him as well as making him stronger is don't allow the gas to slow. But bring back the rising damage. Maybe not as much damage but give me the ability to go in as well as get out but make it so I have to push the fight and end it by choosing to step in the gas or be able to back away and reset and try again when the big cloud is gone. Maybe 5 damage scaling to 8 or 9 nothing drastic. But no slow so it's not just an almost confirmed death if im in the middle of it or say the fight got me so low and now I can't even have the victory of that fight because the gas is there I just clutched up I need to get out but I cant. Fuses knuckles dissapear if he dies. Caustic traps stay long enough to tick you to death only because of the slow they inflict.
