I cannot express how much I enjoy your newer style of videos, I mean we already love kandy and boom but like, this new style of videos makes it so much more refreshing
Caustic is bizzare right now. I usually play aggressive, so I never played defensive characters like him, but rn he’s great aggressive character with proper perks. Same with Rampart.
i love hybrid legends. like valk is a skirmisher but can be used as a recon legend. vantage is a recon but can be used as an assault. newcastle is a support but can be a defensive
I absolutely love the legend upgrades for reason exactly like this. I loved mirrage, especially as he was my first unlocked legend, but stoped playing him and went to catalyst and vantage because they just had more with them, now I’m back to playing mirage because now he can be an agent of bamboozles or a support to revive downed with regen. And it’s been a blast.
hmm, i think i'll try using tacti-toss, i've always picked the larger ult upgrade just because on paper it sounds better but in practice the tactical one might be better. i pretty much alway use the nox vision purple upgrade though, the uses for healing in the gas is just too few.
I feel like the caustic upgrades are very dependant on whether you are taking or holding a location, and whether it is inside. Tacti-toss is great for quickly covering entrances and in a building, the increased Ult range can cover the whole thing. If it's outside, tacti-toss is the best way to coral teams and sometimes get barrels behind them for a bit of free damage. The HP regen is defo the least useful because of how slowly it regens (like Bang in smoke).
The tactical upgrade is just so nice to have. I loved it in the mobile version and im happy it got here. I do wish his barrels had like 50 more hp as they are very easy to break.
a side by side comparison of caustics ult normally vs with the extra range perk, it isn't that big of a difference, but the tactical toss is way better because you visually see it go farther allowing more areal denial, in my opinion, tactical toss is 100% better for most scenarios
While first perk upgrade really gives you a choice to make, second one exposes how badly Caustic needs an actual passive. Nox Vision existing made sense before they removed gas blur in Season 6, nowadays we get short-term tracking for free with Fuse, Maggie, Mirage, Valk and Revenant. It's just a placeholder at this point. Gas healing along with similar perk of Bangalore needs buffs. Either it needs to heal faster or also heal teammates to be impactful. Nox gas itself needs a buff, since it's so easy to not get hit by it, the damage should be higher. That would help addressing current shieldgate meta, since gas damages health directly and goes through Rev ult. As for replacement for Caustic's lvl 3 perk, I suggest making that enemies inflicted by gas continue to take damage 2 seconds after they exit the AoE(without the slowdown effect).
The tac throw distance for me is waaay more value. You get your ult like every 2 and half/3 minutes. Your tac recharges in like 15 and you have three of them. With the improved distance they become mini ults. So you tell me what's better 3 mini ults which you can throw every 15 seconds or one ult every 3 minutes from which most legends can get out of in an instant 🤷🏽♂️
So I have over 8.7k Kills on Caustic. I adore my Stanktank and have played with the #1 Caustic in the world(Giggle Autumn). I study this character. I also adore your content and I just want to say thank you for posting this. See you in the lobbies my guy. I take the larger ult and the Nox vision perks. Holler
Hi Kandyrew, just to tell you that ranked bonus points are crazzzzy... I get +628 in one game, I should have won only 200 but the bonus point gave me the gold rank for free.
For the whole fight through 4:14 to 4:22 you should’ve played your cover more so u could take less damage and be able to help your team more and no I’m not that good but I watch district all the time and ik he’d say u were playing to far from cover that’s why u took alot of damage and ended up dying
Its insane how a few small perks can make one of the worst legends in the game meta due to the nature of Battle Royales. Also the description lies or misinforms about the ult size increase, as the radius increase is more like 20%. Maybe they are talking diameter, but they should clarify it.
