Couldn't agree more. Dude has been a rock for the league for nearly 3 decades. He's the definition of a legend. Respects everyone from Dirk to LeBron to DeMar to the young guys. Couldn't ask for a better role model and mentor in the league.
@@ericf91 Have you ever had the chance to meet Pop? If you have then you'd know why what MrClebophd said isn't cap. Pop does a shit ton for the community of San Antonio outside of Basketball and is a huge inspiration and a great great man.
I was at that game (as a Bulls fan), and the Bulls were terrible the whole game. Then he came in at the end and it everybody cheered as you see in the video. Every time he touched the ball the crowd was cheering, it was the most exciting part of the game tbh and by far the loudest the crowd got that night.
Yeah same. People around our age (mine and Steve. Not sure if your ages but yeah) are so hurt and fed up with the world. Not saying others aren’t. But we got something to miss and compare it to and KNOW it’s possible. It’s so gut wrenching to know what’s going on. I don’t celebrate birthdays or Christmas or anything anymore because there’s nothing to celebrate.
@@JbBackFeeble There are def things to celebrate. Why wouldn't you want to celebrate life? Seems like a weird way to honor victims of gun violence by just shutting down and giving into the evil and bad things that happen in this world. Obvi there are things that needs to be changed and evil things happen, but I don't think any of those people who lost their lives would want us to give up and stop celebrating. I think they would want us to not take life for granted and to celebrate life, which also means celebrate love and people. Things need to change, but to not celebrate and to give in to the negativity seems like the wrong direction to go
@@wesmills2106 131 mass shootings so far in the US this year. That's almost one per day... The fuck you mean honour and celebrate those lost? That's an absolute disservice to their lost lives to continue with the trope of "thoughts and prayers." How can you be so ignorant to ignore such a blatant issue?
the respect i have for coach kerr is outta the roof he used his platform to make it clear things need to change he didn’t bother discussing how crap or good the game was. i have immense respect for him.
The amount of LOVE our city shows D Rose every time hes in town melts my heart every time. No Bigger what if. should have won a couple of titles. We were the only team that was never scared of the Heatles and took it to there ass every single time.
Sometimes in the heat of the moment, tempers flare, but make no mistake about it. These guys have a lot of love and RESPECT for each other, especially as they get older. 🙏🙂
So many times we as fans like to forget that these players and these coaches are human. We hold them on some pedestal as if they are never allowed to be anything less than perfect...but they're not. They're just like us, they hurt like us, they feel like us, and they experience like us. At the end of the day we all just brothers and sisters on this rock. ✌🏾
4:02 He's letting it go: the painful injuries, the lost time, the doubters both inside and outside the club (including me). He's letting it go . . . and he's being recognized with MVP in a few moments. He's getting a fourth ring. He's the best three pointer shooter of all time. And they deserve this one, more than the others.
Even tho it’s photoshopped that thumbnail of lebron and Steph sitting side by side on the bench is actually a great picture 2 goats of their generations
Coach Pop gets respect from EVERYONE! well deserved. coach Kerr getting emotional over the school shooting got me in my feels and thought that was kinda cool the way LeBron dabbed it up with the lady after the interview
If you notice On Dirk shot you can see coach Pop wave his player to back off Dirk and let him shoot, if Dirk would've missed that contested shot Pop would've cussed his own player out 🤣 Respect
You should have put in the clip of CJ coming back to Portland for his first time as a pelican and receiving over 5 strait minutes of standing ovation from the crowd. There wasn't a dry eye in the house.
3:27 a very sad moment for Mitchell but it's kinda funny how the announcer was like "UTAH 78 DENVER 80 LETTTS GOOOOO!!!!!!" like he was almost tryna rub it in his face lol. No disrespect i just thuoght it was funny haha
5:04 For those not in the know, Kerr's father was Malcolm Kerr. He was killed by a radical group while he was serving as president of the American University of Beirut. There's a reason he's so passionate and angry about the inability to change.
when we hear basketball people die is sad to the entire world, i can't imagine one day when pops is moving to the after life. that day i dont want coming but it will, and is gonna be extremely sad.
Speaking of respect, Lebron has earned his place as a top 2 player of all time. It's a two horse race between him and MJ. Jordan fans (I believe he is the goat) need to quit disrespecting this man and recognize brons greatness regardless of whether or not they think he is better than Jordan.
