I know for a FACT that he’s had gunna as a writer before, there was a reference track called “Don’t I” by gunna as a leak and a few months later roddy was singing the same hook on the official “don’t I” song and just put gunna as a feature, but the OG version which u can’t find anywhere anymore was all gunna.
idk if this really counts tho tbh. there is mad times when a artist has a hook and they ask someone else to do it for them because they think their voice would sound better saying it. All a reference track is just that, a reference just cause it was posted doesn't mean you know the context. Gunna could've fucked with the hook but wanted Roddy to say it cause he didn't like how it sounded when he said it. I wouldn't consider this to be like someone writing for you in the same way people attach stigma to. Gnerally when people say oh he has a ghost writer they are saying he is hiring people to write for him to manufacture hits not the original writer asked him to sing this hook cause they felt this other person might've sounded better saying it. If Yatchy gets a Sprite commerical and they write the jingle for him to rap, is that a ghost writer? probably not. Context matters.
CJ isn't a fraud. He's written for so many artists. The song he did with Roddy is unreleased. That N95 record wasn't written by CJ but he laid down the foundation for the song. If I recall correctly N95 is a mix between two different unreleased songs by Kendrick and Baby Keem. He's written for Drake as well on 'Bubbly' with Young Thug and 'Time Flies'. Also its common for writers to have pseudonyms as well. If you don't believe any of this do some digging yourself.
It has already been debunked that he had nothing to do with N95. Stop tying to cope with your propaganda, it pained AK greatly to admit this fact. Your guy CJ or whatever might have worked with Drake or whoever but it was the OVO propaganda machine trying to control the narrative and make it seem like "Look, Kendrick uses ghostwriters too", which is FALSE !!! N95 is an old Kendrick song he made a while ago and reworked it with the Baby Keem song for his album, and for your information Kendrick has worked alot of successful songs for his cousin Keem and the reference tracks are out there. This N95 scandal is BS and complete 🧢. You Drake stans are the worse moving goalposts and doing tricks on Drake's🍌.
@@ochomunna270 Yes he did. He’s saying he didn’t have anything to do with it because it’s bad for business. Why do you think Roddy pressed him over it when the record he did with CJ is out on RU-vid. It never officially released through DSPs but he did write for him.
@@ochomunna270 Kendrick literally wrote every lyric he just laid out the lyrics as a reference track so his contribution to the track is minimal. That’s not a bad thing either. CJ has been working pretty close with Keem that’s why he’s even part of the picture.
@@donniedawson Looool “He’s saying he didn’t because it’s bad for business”. Just few day ago it was “Look, Kendrick ghostwriter revealed and he spoke out”. On most of the OVO subs online and on Reddit currently it’s “who cares about a ghostwriter”. And then there’s guys like you who are unbelievably ridiculous and don’t care how insane you’re sounding. Drake is does not care about you dude, nor is he going to pay you for standing on BS business. They’re in a rap battle, stand aside, watch and may the best man win. Don’t be making a fool of yourself with BS takes, grow up.
He is more of a helper or director. I dont think dude said he was a writer, but he is trying to make it known he is in the industry. But he 100% screwed off rody even if it was not on purpose, its his fault.
