RESPECT!! Toby Keith Does Taliban Song In Iraq | Reaction 

I have to say, this is one of the most Gangsta songs I’ve ever heard.

This song kicks ass. And let me tell you something Toby is probably the most if not one in a very few that has the guts to sing it where it was supposed to be sung. Thank you all for your service God bless stay safe!

The song is written in the perspective of the Afghanistan people trying to escape the grips of the taliban and the USA helping out.

I seen Toby sing this live in Camp Fallujah Iraq in 2008. He was a pretty straight up dude and was all about meeting people.

Props to all artists, musicians, comedians, and all who do USO shows in combat zones.

Toby Keith passed away last night after battling stomach cancer for 3 years. RIP Toby your legend lives on.

Toby and crew are heroes for going to the troops like Bob Hope did except Toby would take his singing partner and go to hot spots. He has GUTS!!!!!

I saw Toby Keith and his guitar player play this and a few other songs when I was in Afghanistan. That's where the taliban is from. It was so bad in our area that he couldn't even bring his band, just the one guitarist and their guitars. That was a hard year, but that show was pretty damn cool.

I saw him in Iraq back in 2003. He was there with us getting mortars and all.

My husband was in Iraq 2005-06, 2007-08, and 2009-10... He was honorably discharged in March of 2011.... A helluva 6.5 years on active duty. Toby really helped boost their morale over there!!

This is a very patriotic song. It is also saying that we don't blame all of the people in those countries. He's saying that the people in that country are not all bad. It is the TaliBan causing all the problems.

Of course they're over playing in Iraq for the troops and decided to play this song for 'em. As you can imagine, the troops LOVE this song.

It's definitely a love song. 😂 You have to take into account that Sept. 11 wounds were still bleeding when he put this out. He wrote it especially for the troops that he was going to perform for.

Yes the song is from your average Afghan trying to live a peaceful simply life. Unfortunately the Taliban came in and imposed horrific restrictions on the people. The US military came in and kicked the Taliban out. Sadly they are back and the repression and public executions will be back.

He did "The Recruiter Song" , it's great! So is "Call a Marine".

My son did 3 deployments in Afghanistan. It is a shame how we left. There were thousands of Americans and our allies that were left behind and now they are being hunted and killed by the Taliban.
