I am so very grateful to and for Anam Thubten Rinpoche. Thank you Rinpoche for so much help and inspiration, the equanimity and good humor in your teachings and presence, both for now in this difficult time of spring/summer 2020, but also lastingly. I am always gratified,too, that Rinpoche has such open and sophisticated understanding concerning Western thinking, including knowledge and affirming respect for the more realized western poets and spiritual writers and public figures whose words do show (I also feel) great commonality with the wisdom of the dharma. I love that he references Mary Oliver, or Thomas Merton, for example, or likes Michelle Obama's "when they go lower, we go higher." And I have been very helped now by his adaptation, to ask "What would the Buddha do?" for any situation we find ourselves in. I find that this question stops my wrong decision making right in its tracks.
