Reporting on missing clients is one of the new obligations under the Serious Incident Response Scheme or SIRS. While we’ve always needed to respond to clients who appear to be missing at the time of a scheduled service or visit, SIRS now requires you to report on clients who go missing whilst in your care. So let’s unpack what you should be doing if a client is missing at the time of a scheduled visit or goes missing whilst in your care.
CDCS Total Quality Package
And if you need more (after all these reforms are not stopping anytime soon) book a no-obligation free call with us at cdcs.com.au/call to discuss getting access to our 'Total Quality Package'. Get a full suite of up-to-date, accessible and compliant policies and procedures, plus a range of audit tools, templates, toolbox talks and eBooks, as well as access to our fortnightly Zoom education sessions - also recorded and available as on-demand videos. This is probably the most cost-effective way of staying compliant in the face of reform.
