Respraying my Classic Mini Cooper - Part 2

I’m loving these videos. It’s always hoped everything goes smoothly when respraying a car, but as, you’ve shown, don’t panic, let the paint dry and tackle it later. I thing the spot on the front corner may have been a brush with the air hose. It happened when a friend was repainting my son’s Racing Green and the hose had a curl in it which touched the fresh paintwork. It was spotted when the paint was still wet so it was simply blown in.

Very nice job for an outside spray job , should have done 3 gloss coats though so plenty to go at when flatting etc . Well done though .

i would just wet sand the whole lot and give it two wet coats with thiner paint or just slow your speed down to stop them dry patches

Is it a 1275 and will you be putting the John cooper decal stripes back on the bonnet?
