Rest in God's Ability - Part 1 

How do you feel when you have to solve a problem? What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Do you work harder or rest deeper?
What if we not only rested IN God’s ability when a problem arose but rested BECAUSE of his ability as an approach to life. This is more than leaning on him in crisis - it’s letting go on a consistent basis before the crisis.
In part 1 of this message Jada reminds us that Sabbath rest is God's reminder to us that He alone provides. Rest helps us to stay humble and not believe in our own self-sufficiency. Sabbath rest for the Christ follower, is an act of dependence and discipline.
It’s about dependence because it's how we admit to God that we can't do it all. It is about discipline because we have to resist the urge to hustle harder or climb further. There's nothing wrong with hard work but we have to be willing to cease striving if we want to really see God move.
