The pain of losing a beloved pet can be far greater than losing a human friend. People who don't have pets in their lives really don't understand how much these animals mean to us. My heart goes out to this man who is in such pain right now. Time is all that will heal.

My husband and I are avid watches of you and Bruce's adventures. This morning while having breakfast this video came up, I called my husband in to listen we both cried for, you, your family and for Bruce. We send our heartfelt condolences to you all . Rest in love Bruce ❤️

I lost my beloved dog 6 months ago. I hadn't grieved, I shut myself down, it was too painful. This video finally opened the floodgates. Bruce lived the most fantastic life because there is one, immutable truth, Dogs love camping! Thank you for sharing your wonderful times together and sharing this heartbreak. I am sorry for your loss. If dogs are loved and allowed to be themselves, they radiate joy, empathy and happiness, Just like Bruce.

I just started watching your adventures with Bruce about a month ago, and like so many others who have commented, I take comfort in your adventures with your dear Bruce as well as your deep appreciation of your family, especially in these chaotic times we are living in. I'm so sorry to know that Bruce has passed. What a legacy of love, friendship, companionship, and beautiful memories he has left you with. Grief is indeed the price we pay for true love.

I want to thank you Tony, for sharing Brucie with us. You knew you had a special little guy, and you could have kept him to yourself, but you unselfishly shared him with us. Bruce was one of a kind. His personality of sitting in the rain and walking in the dark woods with a flashlight collar are memories I will always cherish. Oh Tony, I am literally crying, both my wife and I are devastated by this news. You and Bruce have inspired my wife and I to take up camping. We watch your videos every night. We just returned from camping this weekend. I am surprised at how hard this loss is affecting my family. Whatever you do, please don't stop making camping videos. 9 hours later and I’m still in mourning for Brucie. This dog was family to all A@B Camping followers, at least that’s how I felt about this little guy. He was the most beloved dog on UTube. Having a Shetland Sheepdog that resembled Bruce (in his coloring, mannerisms and traits) I can’t imagine what Tony and family are going through. To say he will be missed is a huge understatement. I feel, like I lost my own little Winston.

2 a.m. in El Paso TX, can't sleep, I turn to this channel for comfort. I see the title.... Immediately my eyes swell, my throat knots, I sit up and wake my wife with my gasp and cry "oh NO!". Memories of Bruce running into the water, cooling in the rain, smiling every good morning.. Tony, you and Bruce are the best team I've seen on yt. You both made a positive impact on my family and I. We love your family and we will sorely miss our best companion. My wife and I hugged and cried just now for how you must be feeling and because we feel we lost a family member. I'm crying again Tony. This makes the 4th time since I saw the news about Bruce. I never dreamed that a man whom I have never met who had a dog who I had only seen on a video could cause such a deep feeling of grief. Not enough words can be spoken for the loss of your 4-legged best friend. To put into perspective the meaning you and Bruce had on me, I happily turned on RU-vid last night thinking to enjoy a drink and some videos but my demeanor immediately changed when I saw this clip, I was in shock and my happy day was no more. I know the feeling, my dog passed a year ago on the 23rd of April. I cried every day for her, she was my best friend, and brought me so much joy and happiness. There is not much you can do, except to remember all joy she brought to you and your family.
