I feel so horrible for Steve. 18 months ago he was out camping on the Canada/US border with Crazy Neighbour, and celebrating 1 million subscribers with Beautiful Wife. Here we are a short time later and they're both taken too soon. I just can't imagine.
Canadian Icon. Red Green and Crazy Neighbour. Who doesn't say: keep your stick on the ice". Or "Hi Steve!" and throw your arms up in a happy salute. International Canadian Icon. 💕
The amount of loss you have experienced Steve is unimaginable and incredibly harsh. Crazy Neighbour, Your Mom, Your Beautiful Wife, each loss alone would be too much. My deepest sympathies to You, Crazy Neighbours family and all of those touched by the amazing people gone from everyones lives. You are a very kind, sweet and gentle man and your courage and stength to get through all of this is an inspiration and example to all of us who are going through the loss of our loved ones. Your dignity, resilience and refusal to turn inwards and blame the World when nobody could or would blame you for that at this time show that you are a truly stoic guy. You have my utmost respect and I am sure, the respect of millions of others the World over. Safe travels with the wind at your back and the sun on your face Steve with very best wishes from England.
Im so sorry to hear this. You’ve had a lot of loss in recent years. I have too, so I can relate although everyone’s pain is unique and their own, I understand the weight of it. I hope you are going to be ok. Obviously he wouldn’t want you not to be. RIP Crazy Neighbor aka Glen.
Steve, I've never had the chance to meet you, and probably never will. I've been following you for a few years now, and this is a blow. Crazy Neighbour always added a bit of chaos and zest to your adventures. He will be sorely missed by many, including this random wanker in Kansas. Rest In Power, Glenn. Much love to you and his family. Pouring out a bit of Step Two for him. Cheers.
I just stumbled on this channel and watched the video of you two stealth camping behind the billboard. I could see you had a great bond. So sorry for your loss. I will be looking forward to your future adventures as a fellow camping enthusiast.
Sorry Steve, I know what it's like losing people you love one after another. The first time I seen you was so long ago. West cost in that van on the ocean! You feel like a best friend but we haven't met yet.you inspired me so many years ago and I thank you from my heart bro!
Didn't even get a whole minute in.. Steve I know we don't know each other in real life but man I'm really sorry.. I know all of our words mean alot but don't fully help the hurt.. We love you dude and are here! Your friend T from Oregon of usa!
Steve hang in there. You have a standing offer of a warm bed, confort, hot meals and lots of support. My husband and I have had you in our prayers and on our minds all year. God Bless you. Her is a gigantic hugs from us both
STEVE: You should give a "crazy neighbor starfish / jumping jack" salute thing at the end of episodes (or occasionally, at least) as a salute to his memory. What a seemingly warmhearted, kind, good friend to have had. I know that ALL of us wish he had been OUR friend and OUR neighbor. He must have had such an interesting life. I wish that I knew more about him. Love to his family.
Loss for words to say the least! RIP crazy neighbor Glen! Didn’t know him personally, and feel like we could have been very good friends if we did, but with RU-vid I felt like he was part of all of our lives, and is/was part of our RU-vid family. So in a way a loss for us all. Sorry for all of your recent losses and tribulations you have been going through lately my friend, sending prayers your way and his family’s GOD SEND my friend
His death actually depressed me and made me tear even though i didn't know him, I bet he was the first one to reach out to steve when his wife died, Thank god steve is doing what he wanted to do with no fear
I think this is so important to say, but I think Steve needs to see this. Steve, your strength as a character is one that, to me, is unmatched. I have never seen someone on a public platform such as RU-vid go through what you went through, from your beautiful wife, mother, and Crazy Neighbor, and still have the heart to film videos for us. I am just beyond proud of you. I hope people can like this so you can see this. All of those beautiful souls are looking down on you, smiling and proud. I hope others find strength from your journey and mindset as well. I am not afraid to admit that I would be worse than I could ever imagine, but you still came out after Beautiful Wife, and kept on trudging along like a real trooper. We love you Steve, and I love you Steve. From you cooking and gold panning, to you on the acreage, to you on boat journeys, and to you camping in a treehouse with Crazy Neighbor. We love you man. Thank you and god bless. May he rest in peace.
Hope you are doing fine internally as you have been going through stress with your wife gone now crazy neighbor. They are in our thoughts and memory. Be well and see you soon.❤
I saw this posted a month ago and just now found the courage to watch it. This is genuinely a huge loss to the world. Such a unique and fun character whilst being a naturally kind soul. He will be missed. Rest in peace Crazy Neighbor.😢
I, too,, truly had to choose my own timing to watch this hugly sad video announcement about "Crazy Neighbor". 😢. Yes, he was someone special who walked large yet ever humble. He is missed by many on Steve's channel.
Mr. Wallis, I just wanted to let you know the amount of emotional strength you have shown throughout the last couple years has been nothing short of inspirational. Most folks would not handle this level of adversity with such grace, fortitude, stability and honesty. We will all be praying for you, buddy.
RIP. Real sorry for another painful loss. Hold your loved ones close. Life is uncertain. Thanks for introducing us to Glenn, Steve. Our thoughts are with you and his people. Hugs from a fellow Albertan.
Thank you for introducing us to CrazyNeighbor, Steve. It was a pleasure to be a part of your adventures. Thank you for immortalizing his fun antics❤ much love from a viewer
To Glenn! Everyone needs a crazy neighbor in their life. Don’t mourn a loss. Celebrate a life Apologies. Mourning takes time. I do not want to offend. Just keep remembering the good times
I know not everybody is ready to accept the obvious but I will never forgive those who took these innocent people away from us and I'll patiently wait for other people to come around too.
it's strange, tragedies like this seem to come in threes. i had the same thing happen, first my grandmother, then my moms best friend, then my aunt. all cancer. life really blows like that.
The riverboat saga was some of the best content y'all two had. Camping out near the border was also a fun one. I won't forget watching the 100k special. That was a great live. RIP Glenn. Thank you for all the joy you brought us
@@RMJ1984 I am wondering if he will keep the things he has or change up some. Glen was a big help in a lot they did even if it was dropping him off etc. more so after his wife passed.
Oh Steve, the amount of loss you have faced these past few years...Your strength is admirable. I will lift you up in my prayers, brother. You are a gem. Thank you for your videos, from Johannesburg, South Africa.
Steve this a beautiful tribute. It took me a few days to watch this as I didn’t want to admit that we lost Glen. But, you know? If it wasn’t for your channel, we would never have known about this amazing dude and now he gets to live on in these episodes. A beautiful channel, Steve. Even the people you bring to us are memorable God Speed, Crazy Neighbor!
Some times you can take a look at a person and read them like a book. Glenn, although a very complex man ALWAYSSS gave off a genuine love for life and not just his. He loved adventure and getting out on the river. I think he actually really enjoyed that more than we know :). When Steve was going through one of the toughest losses a man will face Glenn stepped up and took on almost a big brother role. That action speaks volumes about a mans character. I believe that he will be watching over us and i bet he will make some of Steves up coming trips a little more special. I like to think hes still around some where. Rest Easy Glenn, Until next time Sir.
Another loss for our steve. Steve if you happen to see my comment i want you to know you are an inspiriation to all of us. And you made crazy neighbor's life that much more enjoyable and fun. Your wife and glenn had more enriched lives with you in it. Thats including your viewers lives too. We love you steve
I never comment on videos, but you're one of my favorite channels. It's easy to tell you're a genuine man and I'm very sorry you've had to deal with so much loss in the past few years. I hope you're taking care of yourself, your community is here for you. I hope your wife, mother and Glenn rest in peace.
I am fron Ural, Russia and i must say - Steve, man, your path is rough, but you are like a lighthouse for us all. And Glenn was too. Let them rest in peace. We love you and your souls.
Steve, Winging it is what you do best. There is no better tribute to Crazy Neighbor (Glenn) than you speaking about him to us directly from the heart. He will be sorely missed. Thank you for sharing him with the rest of us.
I'm just a faceless internet stranger and have no right to claim any connection or loss, but I'm truly saddened to hear this. We caught a glimpse of a gentle, genuine, and joyful soul in CN. Sincere childlike playfulness giving sudden smiles to many people in moments they most needed a little lift. Heartfelt condolences to CN's loved ones. Peace and Love.
He truly was one of the coolest dudes I witnessed on yt so glad to hear he got to enjoy some retirement even if it was short. All the great videos with him will ensure he's never forgotten rest in peace Glen, I'll always be thankfully I could witness your spirit and love for life and the way you would remind me of loved ones ❤️
I live in Tasmania Australia. I am a 57 year old man. When I saw the title pop up when I was working I stopped and cried. Crazy Neighbour (Glen) was an amazing friend to you Steve and that showed in your videos. He will be sadly missed.
Remember that he was recovering from a surgery. This is a shock Steve! Didn't think he was that sick. You were both great together out there at the stealth camp sites!
We lost a good one. Will miss hearing Crazy Neighbors stories and seeing him with Steve. Grateful we were able to peek into his life over the years. RIP
Crazy Neighbour will always be an inspiration to what I wish to become as I age. His adventurousness, love of life and amiability radiated incredibly brightly on screen. RIP and heartfelt compassion to you Steve from all the way here in Québec.
Crazy Neighbour was a legend and a top bloke as we say here in Australia 🇦🇺 Thankyou for putting the Crazy Neighbour Movie together Steve, I had a gut feeling something might be wrong. We will always have happy memories of Glen, he had a heart of gold and a great sense of humour. I hope that they have their ear plugs ready for his chain saw snoring. Stuart Australia
Steve I’m so incredibly sorry. You have been through more than anyone I have ever known. Thank you so much for everything you have done for us. More than you know.
