This is a YIN style YOGA class with the use of PROPS to assist and support us in longer holds. If you have them, you will need 2 yoga blocks and a bolster. You may also like to have a pillow, blanket or eye mask on hand for extra comfort.
I've called this class REST & RESTORE because our intention is to slow down and activate our parasympathetic nervous system to allow our mind and body to rest and restore 🙏
So much of our day is spent being surrounded by loud and jarring external stimulation causing our mind and body to be in a heightened, alert state. This class is allowing your body and mind to be comforted, relaxed, and supported 💓
*Behind the Scenes* This is my first online yoga class where I record the audio in real time and it was a REAL learning curve for me! I had so many technical difficulties, sound issues and just general frustration!! I've definitely learned from this experience and I hope the next videos will be of better and better quality moving forward.
