Yes the Germans would have bombed it either way. The Germans would bomb much buildings as possible as they could to weaken up there enemies and eliminate them in the process and it would make the allies lose money. And it could make it easier for them to invade since there would be less cover and hiding places for the enemy. But I’m guessing this movie took place in the UK so the Germans never got to use their plan to invade Britain but were only able to do some bombing runs until the British got air Superiority.

Yeah, the reason they’re bombing the island is because there’s a flak gun on it. If they turned the lights out they wouldn’t bother with the house or wouldn’t notice the house

I know this kind of movies isn’t supposed to make sense, but I wonder what would happen if somebody was holding that squirrel on the tree during the loop restart? would the squirrel still go back to where it was supposed to be? would the person holding it come along with it?? the “going back in time” only affects the place, not the people in the environment?

@@catallysticthe difference is that the squirrel isn’t peculiar. That why it gets affected by the time reversal. In the books, there’s a loop on top of a mountain / hill that consists of a bunch of animals with peculiarities, such as chickens with exploding eggs, sheep with strong wool, bipedal horses? And a talking dog called Addison. Their Ymbryne would reset their loop everyday and they wouldn’t age.

If time was going backwards you also wouldn't be able to see or hear anything- as the sound waves and photons would travel backwards away from the observer- but that wouldn't be very cinematic I guess.

LordBaaleos - Not necessarily. For all its faults, the scene in The Last Jedi where things go realistically silent is an incredible moment. But I suppose less people know the specific science behind how sound waves work than the pretty common knowledge of space being silent, so it might not have had the same impact.

Tiger Bears my comment was basically to say that - ‘you can’t get hung up over the realism of something that is inherently unrealistic’ - time going backwards - if it could, wouldn’t make music go backwards, because it would require the music to go forwards in order for you to hear anything. The basic moral of the story is that in cinema- realism/physics gets thrown out the window in favour of making an enjoyable scene- it’s not a documentary after all. That being said - films such as interstellar get a good bit of applause when they do realistic representations of things like black holes etc.

that is not how gas masks work. Gas masks filter the air, they do not provide oxygen. You can't give yourself oxygen without an oxygen tank.

Emma said that she made the loop in a rush, so that might be the reason. She probably was on her toe's, to make sure nothing goes wrong, that's how she found out about the bomb probably.

At first I thought they weren’t aware of the war during the date of the loop and that the house was about to be destroyed, but then I watched the movie and it turns out they were aware of the danger during their timeline.

@@yerielurena1873 yes, it was that they learned of this, and the caretaker used the watch to stop the time that the bomb would blow up the house, and reverting it back to the morning before the night time raid by the germans.

Nope it already happened..Whether she turned off the lights or night the bomb will still dropped in that particular time..
