Ingredients
Paneer 400 gms
Mustard oil 1 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Deghi lal mirch pwd ½ tbsp
Coriander powder ½ tbsp
Garam masala 1 tsp
Salt ½ tbsp
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Roasted besan ½ tbsp
Kasoori methi 1 tbsp
Curd ½ cup
onion -tomato masala 1 cup
Tomato puree ½ cup
Green chillies chopped ½ tbsp
Kitchen king masala 1 tsp
Coriander chopped 1 tbsp
Onion-tomato masala
Ingredients
Oil 4-5 tbsp
Onion chopped 2 cups
Ginger-garlic paste 2 tbsp
Turmeric powder 1 tbsp
Deghi mirch powder 2 tbsp
Tomatoes chopped 4 cups
Method
Marination:
Cut paneer into dice. Save the trimming separately for further use.
Take a bowl, add mustard oil, turmeric powder, deghi mirch powder, coriander powder, garam masala, salt, roasted besan, kasoori methi, curd and mix it.
Apply this marianation to the paneer.
Cook them on the direct flame with the help of a roasting net.
Once done, keep them aside.
Onion-tomato masala:
Heat a pan, add oil, chopped onions and cook until it turns golden brown.
Then add ginger garlic paste and saute.
Then add turmeric powder, deghi mirch powder and cook for a few seconds.
Later add chopped tomatoes and cook till it gets mashy.
Paneer rahra gravy:
Heat a pan, add onion-tomato masala and saute.
Then add tomato puree and cook it well.
Add chopped green chillies and mix it.
Then add kitchen king masala, leftover marinade and cook until it releases oil.
Add salt, some water to adjust consistency.
Later add crushed paneer and mix them.
Lastly add kasoori methi, chopped coriander, paneer pieces and give a quick mix.
Paneer rahra is ready to be served.
