Hi Hetal & Anuja, liked your new style of presenting videos and the music too. Your recipes are always healthy, perfect and mouthwatering. Following you since 2008 when I immigrated to US, when there were just few utubers back then, now with so many out there, I would still like to see you both together as I was missing you both presenting in a unique way. Have learnt from you a lot! Your rava ladoo Recipe I have been making it for years now. 😋Your recipes measurements are so perfect always. Stay safe take care . Thanks for your videos.🙏

What EXACTLY is ASAFOETIDA (hing), I'm in the US.
@showmethecurry
@showmethecurry 4 года назад
Asafoetida or hing is a spice that is extremely pungent, almost sulfurous smelling. However, used in small amounts, it produces a flavor and aroma that is amazing and not reproduceable with anything else. In addition to adding flavor, it is also used reduce the gassy effects of beans or other lentils. It is available in all Indian/South Asian grocery stores in the US.

Is it ok to not grind the onions and tomatos in advance, but just blend the masala to a paste at the end before the chole are added
@showmethecurry

Yes, either way works but the flavor is slightly different (but still great).
