Restaurants on P&O Pacific Encounter - Included and Specialty Dining Options on Pacific Encounter 

I had issues with the pantry. Breakfast and lunch was always cold except for the fish. Even turned up at 6am when they opened and the food was cold , cold eggs and bacon , cold lunch that wasn’t even warm when it was supposed to be. Ended up eating lunch in the waterfront- brilliant meals and were hot. Started having breakfast in the waterfront as it was hot- I was over the cold scrambled eggs and bacon by day 2. Loved the Dragon Lady and Angelo’s was good as well. Though the rotating dining rooms was poorly done. We turned up to one dining room only to discover we were booked in another. No one told us so after eating at the wrong dining room we asked the crew to print off our bookings so we knew where we were booked. We weren’t able to book our dining as we were taking a short 3 night trip and the ship booked for everyone. HINT : for future passengers when you board , go to the Waterfront restaurant and check your restaurant bookings or make them. There were issues with the app when boarding and it didn’t start working until 8 hrs after we left Brisbane so no one could book as the app was defragging the previous cruise information on the app before it would start working. I also found it worked better on my iPad for the first 24 hrs rather than my mobile phone app.( this is an issue I’ve found with most cruises I’ve been on - also not long after took a Royal Caribbean cruise and had the same issue with their app when I boarded.)

Hi Robb & Ali, We have sailed on the Pacific Encounter a couple times. Going again very soon. All the literature I have read says that they pre book you in The Waterfront, The Dragon Lady and Angelo’s, so everybody gets to enjoy each venue. Thanks for a great tour

Hi Rob and Ali we went on the Encounter last year and Luke's and 400 Gradi were not open on our cruise, we need to go again on the Encounter and check these 2 out. Cheers Trudy

Hi you mentioned 2 menues rotating over 2 days. Does that mean every second day is a different menu? Or for 3 days they have one menu and for the next 3 the second menu? Loving your videos by the way. Just found you and have watched quite a few, very helpful. Thank you

Hi Rob & Ali, thanks for another great video. We really enjoyed all the restaurants on the Encounter but Dragon Lady was my favourite. I especially enjoyed the pork belly &watermelon. Something I wouldn’t have thought to pair but it was delicious .
