Absolutely love the brown interior (so for me I would have also wanted matching carpet) the green and brown together is just perfect! Nice work Cole. 👍
Thank you! I was back and forth on the interior carpet but none of the colors Newton commercial sold really grabbed me and I wasn’t keen on a full custom kit money wise.
@@classicminidiy 100% correct choice going black on the carpet. Keeps the focus on the brown leather and green dash rails. Having a brown carpet would pull your eyes away from all the nice details you have!
Hi Cole, hope you're well and glad to see another of your vids. You just can't beat a Newton Commercial interior. I put one in my '69 Morris Minor Traveller (Woody) in Autumn Leaf colour which looks like your door panels and another in my '68 mini. They just look right! Your mini is looking awesome! Best wishes from Australia 🇦🇺 .
Thanks for watching! Yup autumn leaf on the door cards, then did my best to match the seats from a local upholstery place here in NC. The quality of everything was so great!
Love the colour scheme, I think you’ve got it spot on for your car. Going to be weird not seeing the blue mini now haha. Love what you’ve done with it :)
Absolutely beautiful. Love how the colors match so nicely. Really nice seats. Can’t wait door you to see it on the road. Is this going to be a daily daily driver or is it going to be a show car? Can you share link for the steering wheel? It looks really nice.
Thank you so much! Its going to be a driver for sure. It won't be my sole daily but it will be used almost every nice day I can. I plan on putting a ton of miles on it. Here is the steering wheel its the Momo Heritage Grand Prix: momo.com/en-us/shop/grand-prix
Nice work - but doesn the carpet tuck under the rubbers on the doors a little bit? doesnt look like you lifted the rubbers at all in the speed up video portions. Mine are tucked under, and you dont need to trim, and no paint is showing between the sides under the door and the wheel wells by the front peoples feet either.
I have read that it is possible to convert a 4 speed mini gearbox into a 5 Speed mini gearbox with a kit. Is this a project that you have done yourself, our do you know any pro's and con's about the conversion? Many (mini), thanks in advance! 😆 BTW great series! I have a '62 Austin Countryman.
Please help me, what brand is this pair of cushions? And what is the beautiful color called?I'm following along and I really like it. The explanations are very detailed.
Oh my god, you and your tricks :))). What is the Amp you are using this time ? the one from Kenwood is not available anymore. And as i said Gordon make a great job for the dash :)
Thanks! With the R3 the “relay” functionality is internal on the ecu. so you just run a single trigger wire to the starter solenoid and you’re done. Of course the starter still get its normal primary lead from the battery.
This is most similar to the one I got locally. Although I am a little skeptical it will last a long time. Time will tell vetco.net/products/spst-push-button-momentary-switch-chrome-n-o-6a
