@@Blu3M00NS i went out with my friend and her kid was hanging around. When I tell you how many times she was asking for us to stop at any drugstore and asking her mom to buy all kinds of expensive and unnecessary products. My friend i notices having a hard time telling her kid no i asked the kid genuinely why does she need all that. She’s 12. I tell her all she would need is the basics, she has good skin. And she says is all for self care and doesn’t want to get pimples or any blemish. Like how the hell is this kid saying this is self care, this is overconsumption
@@tiquismistica9417 yeah that’s crazy I think age appropriate items that are not too expensive is completely fine for a kid to want around that age but not too the point they are begging for it like that
@@Blu3M00NS bar soap is better for the environment and all three of my children have moved over to bar soap by choice. None of this is 'necessary'. I grew up in the 70s when we had soap, shampoo the whole family used and no conditioner. We survived! I actually have great skin and I'm 63 .
@@pey2cool4you. yes but its annoying when people vent on happy videos x like cant people have a nice time without someone comparing their own problems?
@@Briannawastherewarning just so you know all of the Sol De Janeiro scent 68 BODY products have retinol in them which will damage her young skin no hate just making sure u know x
Well you can do this with cheaper products. I don't know these products so I don't know the cost. But I am familiar with the type of product she's talking about. I mean you can buy body spray from Walmart.
My daughter is 28 now and I miss her being home and buying her stuff she needs and wants form the store . She would get so excited when I would stock her up .
I wish my mom WANTED to take care of me, and buy me things I want, let alone need, and can’t afford. I’m an adult and live at home (along w my 3 adult brothers) and my mom hates me and gets mad if I even eat “her” food! She doesn’t even include my dad by saying “our” food, and definitely not “our” food, as in the family’s food. My mom is wealthy, so it’s not an issue of money. I’m on disability and well below the poverty line. My mom doesn’t care. I have to remind myself it’s not Mr, it’s just bc she is a narcissist, but it still deeply hurts. I just felt/feel like a burden and a hassle and in her way my whole life. I question if has even loved me. Your daughter is lucky that you WANT to buy her nice things and WANT to take care of her.
I have sol de janero 40 set aswell so good im running way low too!! (EDIT:thank y'all sm I've never gotten this many likes thanks for them!💖 -100 likes-)
If your daughter likes the 62 salted Carmel I recommend getting that leave in conditioner I have thick curly hair and it works amazing and smells amazing I only put like 4 sprays of it in the bottom of my hair to de frizz my hair it works so well. ☺️( just a recommendation)
@@Its_WillyWonkaright? Isn’t it enraging? Like I’m 30 and work hard to buy one sol de janerio item. If a kid isn’t bankrolled by a parent their whole life they’re gonna have a rude awakening when they realize they expensive items don’t just restock themselves magically. This kind of content urks me to my core. How will a child ever learn nice expensive things should be EARNED?
@@Its_WillyWonka seriously this has to be like $300-$400 worth of products. And how many teens with struggling parents must see this and say “mom why don’t you do this for meeee?” Making the parents and teens that live realistically feel inferior
@@Its_WillyWonka I have been thinking about this and I think your right on the expensive part, I am happy that she is lucky to have a mom that does this for her but I feel like it’s a lot…
I love how her mom is making sure her daughter has the things she needs and that her daughter doesn’t have to feel awkward to ask for those things and how the mom is making sure evrithing is safe for the skin
11? Some people get acne when they’re 8! Plus it’s just a face wash, face mask, body cream, leave in conditioner, body wash, perfume and that’s all safe
Personally i think this is all stupid and spoiling the kid. 😂 thats sooo much money for a kid that age. So unnecessary. Hopefully she is teaching her kid to work hard and be appreciative of what she has. This is very privileged.
@@leayonkers8227 same. Like I mean, I guess if you have it like that that’s great, but most of the comments are like I love the aesthetic and it’s like it’s skin care and body care. It’s just more consumerism. And this is from someone who has a strict ass skin care routine and I drop money on it(im also 34 though) But a lot of these videos I usually just scroll past because I don’t care about aesthetic and hopefully her daughter just appreciate the hundreds of dollars worth of product in there. These videos are more a flex than anything. But that’s what most of social media is anyways so 🤷🏻♀️. Just seems tone deaf when a lot of people are completely screwed due to inflation and other factors. Ultimately it’s not that serious. It’s just a video of a mom bragging. I mean it’s definitely sweet, but hopefully her daughter appreciates this stuff. My mom taught me about skin care and she was a single mother working three jobs until she remarried when I was 15. But seeing all the comments about oh my God, the aesthetic is just kind of like ?????
Imagine growing up with a mom who didn’t hand you St Ives Apricot Scrub & send you on your way???? lol no but I love this & I’m so happy for the kids that get “special” treatment like this.
Omg I still love the st Ives apricot scrub, and I used Jonson's baby lotion the pink one on my body and finally I moisturise my face twice a day with Nivea and before bed I apply vaseline to my face and I'm in my 40s now and have barely any wrinkles or lines , you don't have to spend a fortune to get great skin 😊❤
If my mom did that for me I would be crying my mom doesn't like me using skin care and hates expensive products... She won't even get me the most basic of basic.
If she wants all this, why are YOU restocking it? You already bought it for her and now she's making you organize it too? If she's too young to do it herself she's too young for all these products.
What’s wrong with it? If the Mom wants to restock it she can restock it. When did she ever say the daughter is “MAKING” her restock it. Plus it’s an idea for a video just a fun harmless restock. Let her do her own thing on HER channel.
Just saying, (this is for everyone) if you like to set your shower temperature to a really high temperature, DON’T WASH TOUR FACE IN THE SHOWER THEN! It can dry out your skin. It is also still suggested for not wash it in the shower because it can get clogged with lots of other products that are used in a shower
I’m just saying This because I noticed in the video but I was at Sephora a few weeks ago and they had this thing going around and there was this lady that worked at the stand of sol de Jenerio they said that the red sol de jenerio bum dia bright cream (the one they mentioned in the video) was not good for young skin, so I am just bringing this up because it has retinol or acetone in it!!
She’s about my age and I have pores. Everyone is different. Please don’t make young people be insecure about their pores they might have because somebody said they should have them at their age. Thank you.
@@LilysHeree some people have oil problems and acne problems in their teens babe so properly cleansing your face is a must to avoid even more unwanted acne
Reminder: Nobody’s mom needs to get expensive stuff for their children to be a good mom. Every mom is good as long as they love and care for their children ❤❤❤ much love!!!
@@jadewinterberg I think I know it’s bath and body works, but I’m asking why it’s in the shower because if it’s for after the shower it could just go in her daughters room
@@Sayorithejellyfishy oke so actually these things are just after the shower/in the shower skincare yk what idk how to say it but yeah cus I do understand it but idk how to type it in the way that I mean
While I agree a lot of this is quite expensive - at least it isn’t full of harsh chemicals (clean products) and actives (vit c retinol etc) that younger tweens don’t yet need. She is very lucky to have a mom who cares about her this much! ❤
@@mymeloody_ mine got moldy not sure why lol also when did you put the water in? and i was just trying to look out for others so this doesn’t happen to them like it did to me sorry if i sounded rude!:)
I think most people (including me) ignored that it was used on a child, and kinda just thought more about the vibrating part. I do apologise about my comment
Ofc i dont know how often she showers but like of she showers every or every other day its better not to use a mask before every shower but it prob is a very gentle mask😊😊
