Restoration 3 way bass reflex speakers system // Restore things long forgotten 

All that hard work for those drivers!

Not to rain on you're parade, but after reconing speakers before I find it very sketchy that you didn't put some paper inside the coils before mounting them to assure totally even space. Then glue them, and I wouldn't have used those old reflex surrounds as it kinda looked like you did. Just leaving a tip for other DIYers that might try this themselves..

Didn't shim the voice coils in the magnets, and that's REQUIRED to make sure they don't rub. Also didn't see him connect the speaker VC wires to the terminals and pass through the cone. He also didn't cover the terminals before spray painting. Also wonder where he got the new cones (which look nice BTW, good rubber surrounds. Otherwise, nice rework of the woofers. Same issues with the midrange, NO SHIMS. WTF happened to the cross over networks! Also a Rube Goldberg pizo tweeter replacement there.

восстановление этих колонок как тут видеть можно только для просмотров на ютубе , звук для гаража даже не сгодится плюс ещё и микрофон не лучшый качеством ...Но ! то что я действительно из этого ролика оценил для себя это распиловочный стол - в таком исполнении очень интересном и удобным я ещё не встречал , появилось желание сделать себе такой же

Like some others I was immediately thinking way too much effort to salvage those old e-waste speakers but I don't want to harsh the video's mellow. Those great skills could be used on restoring some classic speakers in the future and we should give him some project ideas! Rogers, Advents? Others?

For the vinyl, you wrap around the bottom 1/4' and bring the other end all the way around over the 1/4' to the corner and cut square to the edge. They turned out nice

ボイスコイルとマグネット間のクリアランスを均一にするために、接着剤を塗布する前に、スペーサーをかませた方が良いでしょう。接着剤が乾いてからスペーサーを取り去り、センターキャップを取り付けるべきです。

2 things i have to say about this. While you assembled the subwoofer, you didn't put spacers for good centering, its gonna be an issue (if not now, then the near future, when the materials will have some physical changes, due to movement) , failure rate is slight but possible. 2. thing that at the tweeters, for the leads that is copper wire that functions as the output lead, will gonna break real soon. Aiwa did it in the past, because they made low quality crap speakers, and they wanted the user to buy their products every 1-2year or so. For the second thing im not gonna put sand in your neck but the first thing was really a big issue. The overall quality of the new box compared to the original box is not bad, or its about the same but with maybe a bit better quality of material.(while i talk about the original box, i dont mean the ruined/smashed/broken box, i mean when the speaker came out from the manufacturer.) The one thingy that i almost forgot to mention that the reflex tube is not glued in place, i would have put a little glue, even if its a weaker glue, i would have applied some glue to the reflex tube, its just a little thing that some guys doesn't do, but it helps a bit for sounding, since something actually holds the tube in place, not just the hole.

My honest opinion?` You have good skills! But you waste them on garbage like these AIWA-Crap. They are not worth the money for a recone-Kit in the first place. So, I must admit, I just watched someone with amazing skills making Garbage out of shit!. The parts speak for themselves! Not real tweeter, but just a piezo chip... no frequency divider... and the motor of the woofer is also laughable. But you have 105K Visitors! That´s the true value here! I wish you furtherhin best success! Your work, as I said is amazing. I wonder what you could make with good parts and the will to make something high end....👍

So about 10% Aiwa speakers. Great job but I do prefer a little higher quality speaker.
