The readings are different between the old and new ones. In general MOSFET's should not bring your multimeter to maximum value when testing the legs, this would imply they are shorted inside. A good MOSFET should have a reading of 0.4V to 0.9V (depending on the MOSFET type). There is of course other ways to test them, but the simple DMM voltage test is generally good enough. MOSFET's are dirt cheap. If in doubt, replace them. They don't cost more than a buck or two.

also didnt checked why are the mostfets were burned. The driver circut, the voltage circuit, etc.

Same thing that i wanted to say also that foam is 2fat for the sub it was barely moving if he used soft rubber surround and larger cone he would have more spl g lower bass and the sub would have more excursion which means coil is going to be cooler now its probably stiff and gets hot pretty quick barrely moves on full power

Rubber surrounds come in a small amount of sizes.And it changes the weight of the cone, which will affect the response.Find out for your self, run your tones, then, glue a penny on the dust cap.Let us know what you find.

@@davidhamm5626 this sub barely has any cone area due to the sub. And u could probably find a rubber surround that big.

A smaller surround will equal more cone area which would be better if it was a woofer but this is a subwoofer it needs to move up and down more which will cringle the smaller a surround making the excursion less and have more mechanical noise. Im not sure if what i said is a fact i just thought I'd point that out I've dealt with subs with too small of a surround before so.
