I really love the fact that you try to repurpose and reuse every object, and keeping them true and authentic!

I love watching this guy restore old battered speakers something I've always been passionate about. I couldn't even guess how many pairs I've had over the years but it's great that there is someone out there who can breath new life into something that would probably be on a scrap heap, I have a retro hifi I've been wanting to get fixed for years I can't bring myself to part with it as I know the right person could fix it easily it's just a silly little fault, it switches on but it switches it's self off again never understood why Strange.

Those were hard to find! HTV-CI. I purchased one at Sam's Club when they came out in '99. Sound was amazing, specially the virtual surround. I got the one with the bigger woofer. Still to this day it works. Had to replace the sub two times, but AMP is great quality and still kicking! Miss the old days where Pioneer made really high quality audio.

Достойная работа. Несколько жаль, что не стал восстанавливать сколы пластика по углам и перетягивать ткань, да и не совсем аккуратно обклеен пленкой саб, но ведь все приведено в рабочее состояние.

these early home theatre in a boxes experimented with only having the center channel and sub. but that fell out of favor with dolby digital with discreet channels pretty quickly. Pioneer also sold a similar one with a more traditional 12" cube subwoofer

I have a samsung max-810 that sound does not work and volume not appear neither. It have a STK 4147v stereo amplifier, it can maybe be the issue?

I’m amazed how he just happens to have every part and every peice in stock and in professional terms cheats at restoring these products by spray painting over parts that have rust on them in professional terms a true and professional restoration would involve REMOVING THE RUST FIRST BEFOR SPRAY PAINTING IT OVER AGAIN. In professional terms you CANNOT SPRAY PAINT OVER PARTS THAT ARE RUSTED THE RUST MUST BE REMOVED BECUSE IT WILL EAT THROUGH THE PAINT AND MAKE IT POP OFF FROM THE SURFACE.

Love the repair. Just don't forget to check the CAPACITORS sometimes they short internally and overload and blow up components

Дааа, достойный ремонт. Потыкал в рандомных местах мультиметром. Затем для красоты картинки взял стрелочный мультиметр и такой типа "я все знаю, я ремонтник" просто тыкает по транзисторам. И какой ремонтник будет паять убогим паяльником, ну это крах. Видео из разряда "мы взяли рабочую технику, извазюкали в грязи, помыли мылом, и она теперь работает" + за контент который смотрят люди и вы заработали - за наебалово

коготь на мизинце и сетки (защитные) от пыли бы продул а так - это просто ремонт, не реставрация, корпус и все остальное то же самое

No soy hate, pero sinceramente le falto un poco de profesionalismo en cuanto a la reparación y mantenimiento, no limpiar pasta térmica vieja, usar componentes de reciclaje, no limpiar el estaño viejo, no quitar la guata vieja y poner una nueva, limpiar solo superficialmente y no desarmar todo el equipo y darle una limpiada bien chida, checar soldaduras frías etc
