We have used the ru-vid.comUgkxOTeIs0vv4_9B5hsmnLsk9r930uDQLu_Y for probably 30 hours with our camper and it’s been great! The noise level is really only noticeable when running the AC and other appliances like the microwave, hair dryer, or coffee pot. It’s not huge like other ones and it has wheels so even at 90lbs, I can move it!

awesome restoration job and probably not everyone,s idea on it but at least those out there who use a piston and ring compressor tool and even a primer on the paint job will be able to do this one for sure cheers from Australia mate

Me: carefully measures 1 ounce of 2 stroke oil to a pre measured gallon of gasoline… Him: splashes unknown amount of gas in the tank, and squirts whatever oil is in the oil can… starts right up and has no problem…. Good work!

Не так хорошо как кажется , как обычно не заменил поршневую , подшипники и после перемотки надо балансировать якорь а так красиво покрасил а главное работает .

Sorry Mr. Cleaner das ist ihr Name nicht Restaurator wenn man nicht einmal die einfachsten Teile wechselt (Kugellager etc.) was ist dann bitte restauriert????für mich einfach nur gereinigt und neu bemalt

Hello. Watched very carefully the entire restoration. Still noticed that you maybe intentionately ommitted to show some important steps: installing and adjusting the governor, adjusting the carburetor, those thing that make the generator run smooth and output correct voltage. Anyway it is not a tutorial just a show.. Thanks

Given the low price point of these generators (Harbor Freight Tailgator), not really sure it's truly worth all the work, especially rewinding the rotor, but still interesting to watch.

That is of course, if you live in a first world country. This is exactly what you would do in a third world country. Sort of like your grandfather and great grandfather on the farm back in the 30’s! 👍 good job.

Exactly. In the first world, everything is disposable. Why would they sell a cheap, 100-year reliable diesel generator when they can sell us 10 of these crappy things at ten times the total margin... I love to watch third-worlders do this; first world consumer revenge fantasy :-)
